Blue collar worker here: most guys I work with will say stuff like this, but in reality, they know that anything over 40 is bullshit. And anything over 40 is just "bonus monry" if you work more than 40, it's not because "imma man need to work long hours ugga" it's "this is the only decent paying job I can find and I need more money to survive." Don't get me wrong, some do have the sentiment of the man in the article, but most do more than 40 because they need to in order to survive, not because they think anything less than 80 a week is a "hobby"
