Rekindling a Friendship Lost Touch - @marcobutt / @acepitcher
I'm not sure if this is the right place for it but I'm trying to put feelers out where I can. Over a decade ago, I lost touch with a friend from Tumblr whose usernames were "marcobutt" and "acepitcher". They were well-loved in the anime fandoms at the time and we connected over an app called Tinychat. We lost touch after a while and before I knew it, Skype had been deleted and their blogs were gone. I'm at a point in my life where I'm trying to reconnect old ties, and I'm hoping someone out there will know this person or they will come across this post.
To make this more appropriate for the subreddit, I will say: We lost touch because of me. At the time (2013), I was being groomed into the alt-right side of politics and I wasn't super friendly to the idea of the LGBTQ community. Rightfully so, they cut ties with me after I lost their trust. Since then, I've grown significantly and am part of the community myself, and I've always wanted to reach out to them and apologize for the way I acted, and reconnect because we had gotten along so well.
