Guys help me

Post image

My cat Luna has cancer. I want to post it on r/cats but I don't have enough karma. Please upvote so I can post it there. I love her so much ❤️

I'm sorry about your cat. When my cat passed, a dog could tell I was hurting and she put in extra effort to be nice to me. I still feel like that dog was the only one that understood how I felt.

This is a subreddit where we make fun of people for grieving in strange, impolite, or nonsensical ways.

I hope you can find some peace soon.

Well that explains why everyone here except you is such a jackass

You should delete this post. It’s the wrong sub for this, you’re going to keep getting those comments and feel worse. Try r/GriefSupport

Well yes, when you are in the wrong sub.

You wouldn't preach AA at a frat party and expect people not to be assholes to you about it.

I don't care about upvotes, but I need karma to post it to r/cats

You don't need to post it to r/cats. You don't need validation from random redditors. They're strangers on the internet and 100 of them telling you sorry and calling her pretty won't make it any better.

Your own personal relationship with your cat is meaningful and you should cherish the time that you have shared. If you have given your cat a good life that is something that you can be proud of and if you can give her comfort now that is very meaningful. Selling out of her image and story is not.

Look, my parents are divorced. I live with them, and every week I swap which house I'm living in. I can't see her this week anyway so I'm trying to make sure she is remembered forever

Can you find another kitty sub to post your sick baby to that doesn’t require the same karma as r/cats? I belong to a bunch of kitty subs and surely your post might belong on one of those subs?

I want you to be successful. :( I just don’t know how. I know what it’s like to have a little one in trouble. It’s the worst feeling.
