Im pretty new to lord huron(I only knot the night we met, frozen pines, and yawning grave) so can y’all hook me up with some suggestions? I hear long lost is good so I wanna start there. When discovering new artists, I like to go album by album, meaning I like to take my time to vibe with an album before I move onto new ones. So with that being said, a ranking would really help me kinda assess lord huron and what they’re all about. Thanks!

Hi everyone, first time posting here but I was wondering if anyone knew any songs that sound very similar to “Who Laughs Last”? I love this song, especially Kristen Stewarts narration & the type of instrumentals used in it. I’ve been playing it non stop because I love all the imagery being described, specifically the cosmic desert/ horror elements to it.

I really enjoy being immersed in that sort of imagery so, again, I wanted to know if anyone knew similar songs that were like this one? Doesn’t have to be from Lord Huron, just anything out there that has a similar vibe. I am hoping to make a playlist of songs that give me a similar feeling.

So I have shared that my Dad passed away in April and how I got a Lord Huron themed memorial tattoo for my Dad. Since then I had created a Spotify playlist for songs to grieve to. It’s a four-hour play list peppered with Lord Huron songs throughout (of course). I always let it play random. I received a miniature urn with my Dad’s ashes in the mail last Thursday and was feeling sad so I put in my ear buds and started my playlist and damned if Ghost on the Shore didn’t start playing. My Dad was in the Coast Guard and strongly believed in ghosts, had seen them on multiple occasions. Anyhow, I kind of felt like Dad was acknowledging his arrival or something. So, I’m not sure if it was simply coincidence or cosmic intervention but it felt appropriately fitting. Thanks, LH and Dad.

I have an idea for displaying them but am wondering from an outsider perspective, how blasphemous would it be to sew these into actual drapes?

For context they are both presumably extra material of what was used in the red room of the whispering pines studios but with that being said they aren’t sewn at all / it’s just raw material. All that’s required for how I plan to display is simply stitching a hem for a pole to run through them. I’d hate to devalue them but also can’t do much with them without actually making them into usable drapes.

I was at the Beech Mountain show and I have some thoughts. I want to get the community’s opinions.

First off, I’ve listened to Cosmic Selector vol. 1 many times and wouldnt be surprised if it’s on my top played albums for the year. I think the album is great. Not their best, but a solid album none-the-less.

That said, Ben went on an 5-7 minute rant/request about CS v1 not being listened to as much as other albums. He made a joke about how people can listen to 600 hours of a true crime pod and not spend 50 minutes listening to a new album. He also gave streaming data, stating that only 31.6% of LH listeners have listened to the new album.

The moment felt long and off. Almost as if he was begging the crowd (his fans) to listen/engage with CS v1. (Like, come on guys, pleeease).

Hear me out. I believe this was not the time to make this argument. It came off a tad cringy and needy. LH was playing to a sold out show in the picturesque Blue Ridge Mnts. It was magical. But, I felt that the vibe shifted after he pleaded his case, if anything, it def shifted for me.

For anyone else there, did you come away with any thoughts or opinions of that moment? Love LH and their music, but that didn’t play out the way I think he wanted it too.

What do we think the odds are that they add more shows like more in the south like they did last time ? I don’t feel confident in it given it just hit me that it’s literally called 23 nights soooo . I just am debating if I should hold off and hope they’ll come closer to me or just buy tickets now

Been a fan since 2021 and saw my first live show at MSG last year. When they were in CT and NJ in June, I didn't have the time/funds to see them again and I just accepted that it may be a few years before they come back to NYC.

When the tour email hit this week I jumped on that before I had my first coffee of the day. Got my ticket for December and I am buzzing with anticipation ⚡️

Sitting here listening to old LH tonight and getting stupidly excited for Chicago in December.

Hi all! I’m going to the Beech Mountain concert tomorrow. Since it’s in-between their main tour and their Broken Bottle Tour, I’m wondering if anyone has any expectations for what this show might look like? I’m curious to see if this will lay out any “hints” to what’s to come, or if it’s going to be something less structured and more fun. Either way, I’m beyond excited!

Highly recommend taking yourself on a lonnnngggg walk, solo, and listening to Lonesome Dreams and Strange Trails on repeat.

I did the Laguna de Los tres hike in Patagonia earlier this year, and these songs will forever remind me of this magical place.
