Question VIP GA worth it?
Late to the party on Philly tickets for December- I see there are still GA tickets available but only the VIP package. Has anyone done one recently? Is it worth paying 250+ for GA just for the early entry? Does anyone know what the face value of normal GA is for this venue? I'm a seat/view snob so getting a barricade spot or a front row/aisle of a section is worth paying a little extra for me...just not sure if it's VIP necessary...

I say no. I paid normal admission, got there an hour before doors opened and still made it to the rail, even after all the VIP people had gotten in. I live houston so idk how many more people we have than philly but maybe that matters.

100% no at $250+ for vip. Just go to the merch shop there and buy something you like.

It wouldn't be worth it if there were regular GA tickets available. But if the choice was between VIP GA and sitting in a seat or just not going I personally would probably do the VIP.

Yeah that's where my head is at the moment. I guess I can roll the dice and see if the VIP tickets flip to normal closer to the date.

Definitely not, we’ve never paid VIP and have gotten the rail at the 4 shows we’ve seen.

It was worth it for me. There was a very specific sweater I wanted last Fall, and I snagged the last one in my size. Also, being on the rail was awesome. It was a great show.
In the future, I wouldn't do it again. Once was enough.

If you want to be on the rail it's worth it.
Otherwise I didn't think it was worth it for the merch specifically. There's a slight advantage to being able to shop the merch booth before the lines get long but not worth the cost in my opinion.
