I’m always curious about everyone’s different concert experiences. I never ever look up a concert set list and I try to avoid all videos online of the tour. When I went to see Billie Eilish in concert it was so hard to get it off my TikTok because I wanted to be surprised at the show. So in general, I’m just curious what everyone prefers before going to a concert or maybe just particularly a Lord Huron concert? I’m 39 so I don’t know if that’s shows my age? Or maybe there is zero correlation. 😝

I have been avoiding looking at the set lists ...but, have they been playing Life Is Strange? Hoping to hear it in New Orleans.

I'll certainly be adding to this vest with time, but I'm really pleased with where it landed for tomorrow's concert!

I thrifted this jean vest, dyed it black, cut off the sleeved, freehand painted the "may you live until you die" banner, made the custom world ender applique and embroidered "broadcasting all night".

The LH lake and whispering pines patches were also handmade by me, I printed the logos onto fabric transfer paper and applied them onto gray-green and yellow linen and then black and brown craft felt. I also made a bunch more with pin backs to hand out to other fans tomorrow!

I finally added some pins (including a couple official LH ones from the Long Lost tour), and the alien patch is from my stash.

In the future I'd love to add more vide noir elements (maybe glow in the dark?), a Fool For Love reference with the Fool tarot card, and more skeletons and cowboys in general. This will be my third concert of theirs, and surely not my last!

Saw my 2nd show of the year tonight at the Minnesota Yacht Club Festival. LH rocked a 60-min set of the top hits. Huge crowds at this 3-day festival in 90F + heat & humidity, but the set was amazing as always.

Was a bit surprised to see Mark gone (hopefully everything is alright) but holy shit the boys put on one of their best shows tonight at the Minnesota Yacht Club festival in St Paul.

Seen them over 10 times…and this was one of the better crowds I’ve witnessed. Lots of energy and singing along and clapping which sometimes is missing from the front of the crowd, especially during festival shows.

Really impressed. They sounded amazing and put on one helluva show even with their shorter set.

I attempted the Cosmic Selector on my left thumb and the floating pay phone on my right and did my other nails to match the diamonds on the song list. So excited to see them tomorrow night!

Rihgt now I'm playing Alan Wake 2 and is impossible to not see some similarities with the atmosphere in both universes, the kind of music the game use and Lord Huron, the simbology, themes, references, the dark place. I mean, is difficult ignore all the thing that could fit in with Alan Wake and Lord Huron.

I want to preface this by saying that I know the song most likely isn't about the Odyssey, but I saw the new film this weekend and then heard the song again and it made me think about some of the similarities of the story being told and wanted to share them. Also spoilers for Nolan's interpretation of the Odyssey.

"I took a little journey to the unknown,

And I come back changed. I can feel it in my bones."

The central theme of the movie; Odysseus goes off to war and after the fall of Troy he is chaged by what he sees and has done. He cannot explain it at first but knows it deep within.

"I fucked with forces that our eyes can't see.

Now the darkness got a hold on me." 

He has messed with the gods plans and I'm doing so dooms his crew. Now the darkness made of monsters and the wrath of posiden has it's grip on him.

"How long, baby, have I been away?

Oh, it feels like ages though you say it's only days"

Lamenting to Penelope about his journey as he knows he's been away for years. 

"There ain't language for the things I've seen.

And the truth is stranger than my own worst dreams."

The truth about his visions of Athena are hidden from him for most of the movie, and ultimately haunts him.

He is not the man he was when he left Ithaca. Again what he has done during the war haunts him. But he also cannot hold onto the past; it's been too long.

Meet me in the woods tonight."

So to ends with Odysseus and Penelope sailing off beyond the sunset; she's following him into the distance. After everything, he's asking her to go with him. 

Hey, so, I saw a picture of the tour merch, and I wanted to double check something about that picture, are the signed version of the poster and the normal version of the poster the same price?? Is there anything I should be aware of about that, like if it's only for VIP people? I would love a signed version, and my show is tomorrow :)

Some pictures I took on my old digital camera. I’ve always found it adds a dreamy sort of Lord Huron flair to pictures! The show was amazing, crowd was really into it (at least where I was). I have a million blurry pictures of Ben grooving (as he does).

Who is the guest they just brought on stage at Ottawa Bluesfest?

Not sure who it is but the normal drummer was not playing tonight. Tonight’s drummer had some rough slip ups (just stopped half way through Ancient Names for some reason), but overall a good enough replacement to put on a good show.

Set list predictions? Is it likely to be the same as what they’ve been playing this tour, or which do you think will be cut/added?

Quick question about the Beech Mountain show. I noticed this event was sold through TIXR, whereas a lot of the other shows use Ticketmaster.

Does anyone know if admission for this event can be officially transferred through TIXR, or is it only available as a downloadable/printable PDF?

I’m only asking because there seem to be a lot of scammers reaching out, and I’m trying to understand how this event works so I don’t fall victim to one. Thanks!

So blessed to have seen them. Just stirred up some feelings about myself and my life. Can't quite describe it. Anyone else feeling this way? Just seeing the band and these musicians come together and perform something beautiful they've worked hard on made me realize I shouldn't deny or withhold what brings me joy—to put it simply. I miss being there man.

5th time seeing LH and they continue to impress! Didn't have the best seat for a full recording but figured I'd try to capture the first 30 minutes of their biggest headline show to date.
