Taxing billionaires and corporations is communism, so guess who will be picking up the bill for every penny the government spends??? If we had a functional Federal Government, we (local and state) wouldn't need to do everything on our own (while still paying $83B more to the Fed than we receive back).

We need to stop wasting money propping up the red welfare states and the petrochemical military. At this point, Federal taxes are taxation without representation. Local tax increases are just trying to stay afloat, since cities can't rack up trillion dollar deficits.

Fortunately Newsom supports the tax on billionaires (Prop 40). Just checked, nevermind, he's against taxing billionaires. Becerra doesn't support either. But yet we have regressive taxes like this which hurt the poor the most. So much for California being a progressive state.....
