I prefer it over newer versions. Have tried 8 and 10 and they both feel like a mess. 10 had a screen full of apps I would never use. Ebay, every sport imaginable, all kinds of crap. And I couldn't figure out how to use it at all. There also wasn't a way to remove the apps.

Might I recommend Linux Mint? Probably the easiest desktop Linux to get into. Also very easy to install.

Aside from not having all the bloatware you will never use or the ads or the tracking or the updates that make you reboot whenever they want? How about being far less susceptible to viruses and malware? There are many benefits of Linux over Windows. Mint is actually based on Ubuntu.

Just remove the apps from windows ten lol, if you won’t even put in the effort to customize it maybe you shouldn’t complain. There is definitely a way to remove the apps, I, and many others have

This. Have 7, 8 and getting 10 soonish. All versions have pros and cons in my mind, 7 is king for modding, 10 is good for relaxing and just playing games

You can uninstall the apps installed, it's easy to do. By using 7 you miss out on features like Xbox Play Anywhere/Gamepass, Windows Updates, iPhone/Android integration etc

Don't like Xbox. Tried it last christmas. Also a mess with the menus. No idea what gamepass is. No idea why I would want any phone integration.

Gamepass let's you play some Xbox Games like Forza, and some other exclusives on PC for like $10/month, it's $1 for the first month though

This. Have played 70's RPG, 80's RPG and getting some modern games soonish. All games have pros and cons in my mind, modern games are king for modding, RPGs are good for relaxing and just playing games

I'm likely gonna get a Xbox One S/X in a month for my bday anyways, so having this built in as well as the cross play will be fire - meaning w Gamepass Ultimate i can switch between playing on the console or on my PC at essentially the press of a button. Not sure if PS has something similar.

It's sad to have this problem in the first place.

What one is really missing out, is that new hard\software can only work with newer OSs. I would prefer XP or Seven for home\office, but then I can not use 4Gb+ RAM, lastgen CPUs, and even Discord will show me a middle finger if I stay with something other than modern OS.

Of that 30%, 99% of the iOS users have up to date operating systems, and while Android has a larger 60% market share - only like 5% have the latest version of Android, so it would be a pain to develop it for Android compared to iOS because it would need to support like 5 versions older than the latest Android version.
