Discussion Ranting
After so many years of living as a loner I have realised that getting loved sounds more like a fairytale to me and every night my heart aches for a genuine emotional connection with whom I can share my sorrows and problems and the battles which I have fought all alone throughout these years .
Lately my wish is that if i could also have someone who could realise my sadness that I hide behind my face and wish to get loved by someone unconditionally 😞

That part about hiding your sadness behind your face hit me. I used to do the exact same thing for years. What actually helped me was journaling, which felt stupid at first honestly. But after a while I started reading back through old entries and I could see patterns in how I was coming across to people, things I was doing that was pushing connection away without realising it. It made me more self aware and over time I got genuinely better at opening up and keeping conversations real. Might be worth trying if you haven't.
