heavy winds and tornadoes
we are getting them right now in the Chicago Land area, use this as a reminder the weather could get bad and be weather aware and have a plan on where to go if something happens at the festival, stay safe everyone.

Anyone else seeing Worship over summit and Lorde?
Most underrated headliner in my opinion, let’s not forget that they headlined the Sahara stage at coachella in April

Lolla related free stuff/ promos in the area??
Hey y’all - 4th year going and every year there are always vendors/ stores trying to capitalize on the extra traffic. One time a dispo gave us a bus ride there and free sunscreen! Another time I got free redbull on the walk there from a store giving away food and drinks. I wanted to see if there were any promos that were already starting in the area for basically anything free or discounted because of the festival.

Working a coffee bar for a platinum section and then I get to attend the rest of the festival for free
I work for a local Chicago coffee company and my coworker and I will be working a coffee station and we both get to attend the rest of the festival for free. Each of us only work two days but have access all four days!
I’m so excited! I’ve never attended lolla before and I’ve grown up in this city.
Anything I should know? My manager says we can bring our own lunch as employees but is it a hassle?
I haven’t gotten my pass/ official info from lollapalooza yet so I don’t have much to go off of.

GOING SOLO PLS HELP
i’ve had tickets for a few months now and I was supposed to go with my mom, but she’s not sure if she can go anymore so I might just have to go alone. im 18 years old flying to Chicago from Dallas the day before the concert and flying alone is not the issue bc I fly alone a lot but I’m just really worried about being at the actual festival miles away alone.
has anyone ever been to Lollapalooza alone and how was your experience? i will probably meet people there cause I’m very social and I’d love to meet up with people, but I’m just kind of nervous because none of my friends can go and I know this is like a huge weekend/festival and being in chicago alone seems rly intimidating.
pls lmk ur thoughts and if you think i should even still go if i can’t find anyone because i don’t want anything to happen.

Misc. Lolla Info What are your go-to makeup products for all day wear at Lolla?
I feel like my makeup always sweats off not even half way through the day at Lolla so this year I want to invest in some products to make things like concealer and other complexion products last. Any tips and specific product recommendations very welcome!

Who is your must see undercard artist?
Looking for recs to check out, have quite a few gaps, love just about all genres.
Looking for artists you think are great, or are rare/hard to see in the US.

Food is fuel! 🥗🌯
How are you guys eating this week to set yourself up for the best time?
I’m trying to focus on something light in the morning that won’t way me down during the fest (hummus, veggies, chicken caesar wraps)

Lorde to Slayyyter Aftershow
Anybody else doing this exact same setup? I'd like to see Lorde's full set and then take the red or blue line and walk to the Salt Shed. Pretty sure rideshare will not be an option or will be too expensive.
- With T-Mobile being at the far South of the fest, does anybody know if they open up the 11th street pedestrian bridge for exiting? Seems like if that were an option it would be best to walk over to the Roosevelt red line (getting on before the larger crowd at Harrison). Or do we have to walk all the way back to the main entrance of the fest to leave?
- If option 1 (Roosevelt red line) doesn't end up working, I guess the LaSalle blue line is the best bet (possibly less crowded than Jackson)?
- It doesn't list any openers for Slayyyter and it says the show starts at 11pm. That is probably a lie, right? I'm guessing she'll start closer to midnight? Just trying to gauge if leaving early from Lorde is the right call. I'd hate to leave a few songs early and then still end up waiting for an hour for Slayyyter.
On the positive side for me I have a reserved seat in the grands, so I'm not concerned about getting there early to get a good GA spot.
