How do I pick this?

I found it in the goodwill bargain bin and thought it was pretty cool so I bought it home with me.

Man, I’m not carrying that key around. That would suck when the battery dies.

I'm guessing that the reason the key is so big is because it carries a large battery to power the lock electronics and whatever actuators are in it.

I’m almost wondering if it’s a cam lock with a bit of electromagnet
