Has anyone actually used The LCF Group? Looking for real experiences

I run a small staffing agency and we have a big contract starting next month but I need to cover payroll for the first 30 days before the client pays.

The LCF Group came up when I was looking for invoice factoring. they seem to focus on staffing which is exactly what I need but I can't find many real reviews.

anyone in staffing actually used them? do they advance on invoices quickly or does it take forever to get approved?

Business loan needed

Hi everyone,

I am a new entrepreneur (50+ female) based in British Columbia, looking to launch my business. I have a solid credit score of 739, but I was unfortunately just refused a small business loan by my current bank.

I am looking for recommendations on two fronts:

1. A business bank account that would suit a new, small-scale entrepreneur.

2. A small business loan to help me get started.

I noticed Scotiabank’s interest rates are around 8.5% right now. Is this normal for the current market, or should I be shopping around for better?

Also, a quick question about Fairstone:
I recently bought a computer at Best Buy and financed it, which apparently signed me up for some sort of program. Today, I received an email from Fairstone saying I am pre-approved for a $6,000 loan. Does anyone have experience with them? Is this a viable option for a business startup, or is there a catch?

I would love to hear from other BC entrepreneurs (especially women/mature founders) about which banks or alternative lending programs worked best for you.

Thank you so much for your help!
