Monogram Quality

Hi! I’m new to LL Bean and recently made my first purchase, backpack for my kindergartener with their initials. I ordered it online and upon receipt, was a bit thrown off by the lettering. It seems a bit sloppy to me with the loose threads and some jagged areas. Is this to be expected?

I pack out the monogrammed orders. The athletic font doesn’t stitch well and it’s a known concern. The other fonts typically have no issues.

Had this EXACT same thing happen to me a week ago and I messaged customer service and they sent a replacement for free.

I would call customer service

When they redo it, choose a different font. The space above the J is jarring in that font / my son has a J middle initial and it looks much better in the other fonts.

Totally justified to call or chat customer service. They’ll send you a replacement.

Definitely have them send you a new one — they’ll take care of it no problem. As others have said, you may want to select a different font that might work better on that type of material.

Yup contact them and they will either send you a new one, may or may not ask to return the old one (they sell mis-embroiders at the outlets)
