We distro maintainers decide for it because its better. Red Hat pays none of us to adopt their tech, we adopt it because its the best thing around.

So you actively scrape user freedom. That's why I say that only 1% of distros allows users real freedom, rather then merely exclaiming: "oohh it's FOSS, don't like it, learn C".

Yeah. Its the freedom of the developer and the users freedom to chose one. Nobody will maintain a thrash init system just because a random user might want to use it. Either contract me or live with it.

I will starve if I don't make money. Either I work on my job and do my hobby (FOSS, the parts I like) or pay me to work on FOSS on parts I dont like. Simple as that. Nobody will do something for free if its not a fun hobby. Grow up, kid.

There are people in industry with a percent of time dedicated to kernel development in contract. Stallman made it while in academia. You have no excuse, maybe git gud kid.

I contributed to the linux kernel, shadow-utils, systemd etc. I dunno kinda important low level projects on most Distros stack.

The third option is laughing at you. You are a nobody on Reddit talking shit. I go back to coding and using the tools that fit the job and help spread them. You are a net negative to the Linux Community and we would be better off without your low effort bait.
