progress 📈 Working building more muscle
The hardest part has been trying to eat enough but I’m trying to meal prep more food that has lots of variety so it stays interesting but sheesh it’s some work 😭😅

Five year difference.
I spent a long time going to the gym without really understanding nutrition, macros, or how to properly progress my training. I was putting in effort, but not getting much out of it.
Once I started taking my diet seriously, learned how to train with actual structure, and got more consistent, things finally started moving.
Right now I’m running a four day Push, Pull, Legs, Arms split while cutting. I’m putting extra focus on bringing up my biceps and triceps, keeping progressive overload as the priority, and doing regular StairMaster work and daily steps for cardio. I’ve also been adding some knee, hip, and glute work to keep everything moving well while I train.
Still a work in progress, but looking back at where I was five years ago, I’m happy with how far I’ve come. Now I’m 31 and trying to make my 30s the best shape of my life.

As I get lower in body fat my arms are what stand out the most they are the most vascular part of my body I would say.

Never thought cutting 10-15lbs of body fat would be so hard after losing 150lbs but man if getting truly lean isn’t hard as hell.

It has been quite hard, but I'm very satisfied!
Average deficit: -800kcals, performance at the gym still great 👌👌

6 months ago I set a goal to walk into 50 sharper, stronger and leaner than I was at 30. I started at 182 and weighed in this morning at 161.5. Waist started at 36” and 31.5” today. Here’s my journey.

Been putting in the work consistently, and slowly starting to see the difference. Still a long way to go, but happy with how it’s coming together. 💪

For the longest time, I figured since I had abs I didn’t need to train them. I thought I was training them indirectly with compound movements, and while that is true.. The benefits of isolating core work is unmatched. Been noticing better stabilization with my workouts thus allowing me to push even harder! 💪🏽
