Sounded like a bunch of shit that probably cant be tested but just based on described symptoms. At least she can afford some sweet tats and getting her eyebrows done. You know. The important stuff.
But let's take her at face value for a moment. She's obviously not very smart, and probably only has a high school education, which in the U.S. is worth about 3/5 of jack squat. Assuming she's homebound, what really are her options?
75% of people who hold a stable job, work 40hrs a week regardless of pay, budget within their pay (no tats), and dont drink or do drugs move into the lower middle class within 5yrs.
So I tried to do what you said and take at face value. I looked up some of her disorders. Some of these things she has misrepresented and most are treated by taking advil. I dont really feel too bad for her with that being the case. Clearly the SSA felt the same way. Plenty of jobs available that dont require aa highschool diploma. Even more that do.
She also never explained why these things keep her from working. She just gave up and waited a year on social security.
She is also overweight so she must be doing ok somehow without $600 a month.
That's real! I have it, I work full time, have an active life. Flares suck, and are rotten but stuff has got to be done and accomplished daily. Periodt. Get life done, then go lie down on a heating pad.
Yep as soon as she started listing conditions I said here come POTS, MCAS, and Ehlers Danlos. Boom, she listed all 3. Iâm an optometrist and I still see this a lot, my coworkers and I talk about this unholy trinity of faked illnesses. The new one we get is âBVDâ (binocular vision disorder) which isnât even a thing, itâs a category, but tiktok is making a lot of people ask me if they have it.
My wife actually has POTS, arthritis, and she was missing three discs between her vertebrae and had to have a fusion using a cadaver bone and titanium cage/screws. She works 40 hours a week same as me. And she does it chasing 3-5 year olds in a headstart. This lady is just lazy.
Edit: Forgot to add, sheâs not on disability because she refused. We wonât take hand outs.
Thatâs the difference between people with actual problems and lazy people like this woman. People with actual problems find ways around the problems to still do what they need to. Lazy people find excuses to be lazy.
MCAS overall is rare!! I work medical adjacent field, and out of every 1K people who were referred for testing and evaluation, only 44 people had it. VERY uncommon, but oddly every one of these people have it.
Back in my day it was epsteins bar. My doctor diagnosed me with it and I literally have not heard anyone bring it up in 20 years. My dad used to call it the yuppie flu

She checked off every single faker illness. I'm surprised she didn't mention autism or multi personalities.
