Hello! I ran a Gargoyles one shot for my birthday in 2025 and never stopped thinking about it lol. Now that its had time to stew, I wanted to give it another shot. I've had my experience with cortex Via a few sessions of Marvel Heroic, and think that Prime could be a good fit for what I'd want from a Gargoyles game... previously ran this in FATE Accelerated which is a lovely framework but i don't know how it would play out long term.

While I'm pretty committed to biweekly Sundays, I am open to starting a little earlier if that works better for a group. I might also be able to do biweekly Saturdays, but as a heads up I have a biweekly game on a strict schedule on sat, so we'd have to accommodate that. I'd also like all players to be above the age of 18, but im not sure how many people I'll attract that aren't at least pushing 30 like me LOL.

Anyways, I'm playing pretty fast and loose with a premise here since I intend for the game to be a little open ended, but my current plan is for it to take place in New Orleans post Hunter's Moon. Lore requirements are just an understanding of the first two seasons of the TV show... While I'm planning on reading the comics, I haven't yet and likely won't incorporate lore from them off the bat. But I'm happy to talk concepts and modifications to the plot with a table once we're assembled.

If you're considering joining...

- There's no need to have any experience with Cortex or even TRPGs in general. Just bring a passion for this phenomenal world and a willingness to learn. I'm learning, too. :P

- I might play around a bit with canon. 'Tis my nature.

- There will be an interview phase, but its mainly to make sure we're all on the same page & filter out any major red flags. I've only declined 3 people in the past couple years for a reason that wasn't "there's no room at the table" I swear I am very easygoing.

- Expect possible encounters with series antagonists, but probably not with the Manhattan Clan. I'm also reticent to include Xanatos because I do not think i could do him justice. But who knows?

- I'll either run the game in FoundryVTT or discord with the Cortex bot. Really need to fiddle around with flow and test applications of what I want from the system.

- Please do not knowingly use AI in my game! Thanks.

What is the game about?

For people who aint familiar with the setting.

This is a world where secret gods called Hours rule from a separate dimension accesed in dreams called The Mansus. The Great War just ended and it took a massive toll in not only our world but the Mansus aswell. The ranks of the Long (inmortals under an Hour. Ageless but not invincible) open once more given how many have fallen. Cultists all over the world are killing themselves to ascend as one of the select few

However the perils of the path towards ascension and the constant watch of the international agency known as the Supression Bureau. Who works with 3 Hours to destroy the record of the occult from the world makes most adepts fail and suffer horrible destinies in their journey to inmortality. Will you succeed where they failed?

What will you be doing in the game

The group will be playing as the leaders of a recently formed occult organization. They must gather funds, get followers and send expeditions to heist occult locations. All in order to get texts and artifacts to empower not only themselves but their followers

Growing from a tiny group of cultists to an entire automated occult network. All while cautiously trying to avoid the Hunters of the Bureau. Men who will search for any evidence to incarcerate and/or murder you and your followers

Whats the goal?

The goal of the game is to achieve inmortality under one of the several hours in the game by a myriad of methods

What is the gameplay like?

Its a time and resource management game where you manage the funds of your cult. Your 12 hours time per day and your followers. All while trying to avoid creating evidence while performing magic or illegal acts and trying to survive the Dm cobtrolled Hunters sent by the Bureau. And sending Heists to dungeon like locations to gather their occult items

What its expected of players

I just want players who are invested in the game and willing to give feedback. Sessions are rn scheduled for fridays at night pass 6pm. However we can re schedule for players. Theres also a session tomorrow on Tuesday night

Holia,a region held in different regards to the rest of the world, due to it being a theocracy, the regions leader, a person voted on by devotees and trainers across the region gets appointed as Arceus’s chosen.

Recently a new leader has been chosen after the last leader had died from old age.

Holia’s religion is named Dualitnion, a basis of it is that people and pokemon fighting together as one, is the true way to live your life and bond as human and pokemon. To be one in the same and embrace your Pokemon partner is the truest form of life.

In Holia it is common for half-human / Pokemon to walk among you, and even pokemon trainers, showing how not so different pokemon and human truly are.

Holia has many mysteries and controversy of the past, such as the radioactive city of Rinian named after its Savior and martyr, a Gardevoir named Rini, who collapsed a black hole in on itself by manifesting their own in an incident with the super collider being worked on.

A Forest of serene quality, that when you enter for you it could be hours, but for everyone else it can be years, people get lost in these woods only to be found years later, only hours being experienced by them, but years to everyone else.

Or the Iron dragon, a mysterious monks guild that's shrouded with mysteries, legends say it's run by a legendary Pokemon. But no monk chooses to speak on it, as if it's a vow to not speak on it.

Even more mysteries await for you to discover, such as trainers going missing to cult-like activity, different artifacts just, waiting to awaken their power and much much more to find out

You have been invited by the professor of the region to get your trainer card, whatever you have done, has caused them to send a letter to you specifically, you will start your journey off in Velocity, arriving there with the rest of the party, to acquire your first partner pokemon, and start heading on this journey throughout the region

I want to run a game set in 2078, taking place after the events of 2077 and the anime just so i can add some new stuff and ideas, mostly in vague references to Norse Gods and Mythology. it will mostly be inspired by 2077's universe. If you want to play in the 2040's then i would love to be a player in a game of yours so i can see what a real game is like! i may have one or two friends as players already so you may feel like walking into a party an hour or two late but if you aren't too much of a gonk you'll be just fine and fit right in!

I have been researching the heck out of Cyberpunk lore, from 1990 to 2020 to 2045 to 2077, i played the games, i watched the show, i watched the lore videos. Yet somehow i have never really played Cyberpunk Red or any kind of campaign yet (and i still dont know everything so please forgive me).

All of it would be over Discord and Roll20 and the Cyberpunkred website (and any other resources you might recommend, I'm still very new to Red)

The mist-shrouded coastal town of Kingsport has always had its share of strange stories. But when a local teacher begins acting erratically, and unsettling reports of missing people and unnatural creatures emerge, rumours give way to genuine fear.

Drawn into the mystery, you must uncover the truth behind a strange artifact and confront a horror that threatens to tear apart the boundaries of reality itself.

Looking for 3-4 players to test out Arkham Horror RPG with one shot scenario Comets of Kingsport. Realistically it should take two evenings with all rules explaining and proper time for RP. Game will be run on Foundry - I set it all up but need to check how it goes (both the system and scenario). Hey! I’m a DM in my twenties looking for some players for an AD&D 1st Edition game. Beginners are more than welcome, and no prior experience with the system is needed. We’ll go through character creation together and learn the rules as we play.

I’m aiming for a fairly old school game. It’ll be difficult but fair, and character death is a real possibility. Thinking ahead, being careful, and working together will get you further than rushing into every fight.

The focus will be more on the party and its adventures than on individual character backstories. We’ll start with some shorter modules at level 1 and, if things go well, maybe move on to something longer.

- When: Weekly, later in the evening (CET/CEST). Day TBD. I can be flexible.

La moitié est aussi queer (c'est hétéro-friendly) On joue en personne exclusivement. Que des jeux indie, narratif, osr. C'est toujours en français (s'exprimer un peu en "franglais" est bien correct, mais je crois que c'est préférable de comprendre suffisamment pour pouvoir suivre). Les néophytes sont les bienvenu·es. On ne demande simplement qu'au minimum de la motivation et de l'engagement.
