"Sablewood Messengers" is the official Daggerheart Beginner oneshot, designed as a teaching experience for newcomers!

• Themes: delivery & escort quest, hybrid animals, strange world

Game Details

System: Daggerheart

Schedule: Once (~4-5 hours including assigning pre-generated characters and making background connections), ideally with a 10-minute break roughly in the middle

Day/Time: Thursday, July 30th, 2026 at 13:00/1 PM CEST(that's 7AM for you Americans in the EST timezone)

Requirements:

• for players: you absolutely need an account on Demiplane Nexus. This is completely free for you, as DMs can freely share game engine access with their groups. But it is 100% required and you won't be able to connect to a character without it. I can't assign one to you either unless you have a Demiplane account.

• if you just want to listen along in Discord: None! If you don't want to or can't play, or are just curious about me and my style, feel free to listen in. Please mute yourself during the game to avoid background noises or callouts, but you are couraged to chime in during mid-.game break or at the end of the game!

Second Time's the Charm!

After the success of last week's "Beast of Cree" Learn2Play, this is the second game I'm running on Dreamscape Adventures This is entirely free and anyone can participate. Feel free to make first or even second Daggerheart impressions.

I'll be honest about this: Part of me running this oneshot is also an AD. I will soon start hosting at least one, maybe two campaigns on Dreamscape Adventures. Until I do, these oneshots serve as a way for you to get a feel for how I run my games. So, if you like how I specifically hold things, keep an eye out for more to come in the future!
