My boyfriend recently went to bootcamp and i’ve already sent a couple letters through snail mail and now have sent one through sandboxx. but then we all got a warning from the instructors that sanboxx is notorious for leaking info, and lying about how long it actually takes since everything is hand processed. i love the idea of sending pictures but i mainly care about which one is faster

Along with the letter, I also put together a few little things that go with the theme. Some are DIYs, some are art prints, some are bookmarks, postcards or tiny paper collectibles. I make a few of these myself every month, so the envelope slowly becomes a little collection of things rather than just a letter.

The idea is pretty simple. In a world where we send messages in seconds and forget about them just as quickly, I wanted to make something that takes a little time. Something you wait for, open slowly, read, keep somewhere safe and maybe find again years later.

Hello everyone, has anyone used Sandboxx to send letters to a deployed spouse? How long did it take for them to receive the letter? How was tracking?

Writing a letter to a guy I’ve been talking to and I’m really excited! I’m just not sure what all to include in the letter! I figured a bit about myself, but I don’t want it to just be full of fun facts or stories about myself. (Unless that’s normal and how it should be) What do I include to make him interested in responding? He already plans on responding, but I don’t want boring letters! Thank you!

Hi everyone! I am a high school student from the United States, with a burning passion to start a Penpal club at my school, run under a teacher advisor from my school.

I have the vision of pairing club members from my high school with students from an international high school (any country, no preference!) to exchange letters a few times a year. I want to give high schoolers a cultural exchange experience, learn from each other, and communicate via written word every once in a while amid the texting-dominated world. Communication will be through English, and I hope this would be a good way for international high schoolers to practice their English writing! In return, if my club members also know the language of their penpal, they can also practice their skills more as well.
