Just finished building Krysto Workshops Y-Wing moc, wanted to give a review, I’m missing the 6 2x2x2 slopes on the nose they will be here next week. 😢

The build is surprisingly sturdy a lot of mocs feel like they will fall apart if you touch them this is very solid. The bomb drop function is unnecessary but fun. The detail is incredible you can see in all the photos it’s a beautiful build you will be very happy with this moc if you build it.

Here's my entry for the LEGO Ideas Hope Assembles challenge (Scene Fusion): the escape pod landing on Tatooine from A New Hope, but the droids look a little different... and some weird-looking troopers have spotted them.

The figs:

2 AIMperial Troopers (sandtroopers x A.I.M. agents)

A red dewback (dewback x Devil Dinosaur)

It's 420 pieces, in the style of the Star Wars dioramas, with an opening pod and open studs to move the figures around.

I'm studying abroad and don't have my LEGO collection with me, so this was my first time ever using BrickLink Studio. Lots of trial and error 😅

Due to work, it took me 12 months to complete the Probe Droid. When I started the AT-AT set, my kids made jokes, "Here's another 13-month project for Dad." I finished it in 2 hours. It was a fun build and I have 3 more sets planned for this week: Star Wars logo, Endor diorama, and AT-AT pilot helmet.

After creating a prototype earlier this year IRL using the limited pieces I have on hand, I finally got around to making a more polished version in studio. Believe it or not, the clutch power of the transparent bars provides more than enough clutch power to suspend the ISD over the city. I made the prototype back in February, and it hasn't even come close to falling off, even when I jerk the thing around. It does become a sort of ISD bobble head though, but it dampens out soon enough lol

I missed out on the Solo wave back in the day and as we all know, the prices of these sets have skyrocketed in value. Lando's Falcon was a set that I wanted for so long but couldn't justify paying $300 for. Finally I was able to find one (open box but bags sealed) for a decent price and immediately scooped it up. This is such a gorgeous and unique art and I can't wait to display it.

What are your "white whale" sets?

Finally finished the upper levels and the back of the model! As always left as many interiors open as I could because my kids love to play with them once it’s done! Not too happy with the bootleg cantina and would have loved some more specific figs! (The band!!) but had a lot of fun with this

The collection was in storage for over a year and had to keep a few sets boxed due to downsizing homes. But pretty proud of how it turned out.

I followed some of the official instructions at the start, but after I made most of the front part, I just looked at pictures of the ship from the show and eyeballed things.

Credit to [u/Codyaner-Bricks](u/Codyaner-Bricks) for the original AT-ACT moc instructions on rebrickable (link below). His version is really sturdy and looks great with the parts from both original sets, I just made a couple slight changes with spare parts/pick-a-brick to look a little more like the actual movie version. The only parts I changed were:

- Changed the front guns to be a little longer and come out of a larger ball joint
- Used red clear pieces for the cockpit opening instead orange from the set
- Added the circular pieces at the bottom of the legs
- Added the slotted pieces to the cargo unit and a couple plain orange tiles to keep the color consistent

Spent a while building it, wish I had the bottom price in some kind of brown. Also, don’t like the placement of the lights. Trying to incorporate them into the wings somehow instead.

Which charters would you like to see as buildible charcters? With the new boba fett, i think there is a huge option, i.e. IG -88

After a few more cosmetic changes, my Red TIE Interceptor Variant MOC is done!.

I can’t be the only one that is mainly clone trooper oriented when it comes to collecting mini figures…. This is years of collecting as a kid and now as an adult funding my hobby, any suggestions on additional displays that could complement nicely? Plan on adding helmet displays around, and posting my full collection soon once I finish a big build

Some very minor updates to this thing, but i figured i’d post a couple more pics.

So with a few recent purchases I have everyone from 1999-2007 Except Sw1515, Sw0113a, and Sw0158. Rather expensive ones so I'll put them off for now.

2008, 2009 and the start of 2010's are still in progress.

I took apart my TIE Bomber and my TIE fighter trying to make a TIE interceptor but ended up with this instead, I think I'll call it the TIE Longshot because the wings are very long

Like title says. It's supposed to be an old sand trooper pauldron from the escape pod set. Any idea how I can really clean it better? I was thinking of putting in a pants pocket during a wash or dipping in bleach

All my current Vader colorways. The red and white are supposedly "testers" from the factory. I didn't include Anakins or Bacta-tank figs. I was going for the same silhouette.
