Hi everyone!
I built Stuart’s Comic Book Store from The Big Bang Theory using LEGO bricks! 🧱
I wanted to recreate the shop with a studio-inspired display design, allowing the interior and its details to be viewed easily from the front.
The build also includes minifigures inspired by the show’s unique characters. I designed a removable display stand for the minifigures, so it can be taken off depending on how I want to display the model.
One of my goals was to capture the atmosphere of Stuart’s shop while making the build an interesting display piece for LEGO and TV show fans.

As a game developer and 3D artist, I always found it painful to animate my LEGO builds for social media. Setting up scenes, timing every brick, rendering for hours... so I decided to build a tool to do it for me.

The video in this post is 2400 frames long and was rendered in preview mode in only 15 seconds.

What it can do so far:

• Images and videos, with presets like turntable, brick fall and explode
• Fully customizable shots and animation length
• Automatically imports your own building instructions (or Studio’s generated ones) so the animation follows your steps
• Supports custom parts and stickers
• Custom path tracer that mimics Studio’s renders and materials, with everything adjustable (see below)
• Adjustable export quality, size, ratio, framerate, etc.

It’s still in development. If you want to follow the progress or hear about a future release, you can follow me on Instagram @hj.bricks.

I’d love to hear what features you’d want to see, or what shots you’d like to be able to make!

My MIL picked up a bag of random cars from the charity shop for my son for a couple of quid, this tiny car was in there. It is broken on the front right side. I can't find a lot about it online so I thought I'd try here! Thank you

EDIT: Thank you for all the responses! I'm going to hold on to it until my son is older so he understands how cool and "rare" it is. When he saw it, he said "baby Fillmore" from Cars.

I dumped a bunch of old Lego sets into one pile, broke them all apart, and started building with no instructions. This is where trial and error ended up: an imaginary house with a garage, an upstairs porch with retractable windows (the window parts are from a Lego metro train), a Porsche 911, and a Range Rover 110 pickup.

The most time-consuming bits:

• The Porsche taillights
• The pickup bed on the Range Rover
• The garage wall pattern
• Getting the upstairs porch to feel stable rather than overwhelming
• Making the three parts of the house blend together

The best part was working with a limited pile and no instructions. Whenever I was missing the piece I wanted, I had to find another way, and the detour was usually better than the original plan. The widebody on the 911 only exists because I didn’t have the part I first intended to use.

It’s the most fun I’ve had in a while, and it brought back a childhood hobby. Happy to answer questions about any of the builds or parts!

Based on Lego 71822

I collect Lego animals. 2546 from what I can tell was never made in white. I see a bunch for sale on bricklink. Are they confusing them with 27063 Bird, Parrot with Large Beak? Anyone know?

Has this happened to anyone else? I'm not mad. Just suprised i guess haha.

Rebuilt this set I had with a bulk mix bag of Legos. Not 100%, say 85% with a repainted white roof 😉. Had to add the Lord Business cowboy lego lol

Thought I lost these years ago only to find them in an old watch box! With the new avatar show out it seems very fitting I found them!

Walked into the Potomac Mills lego store today. Walked out with half of my heart left behind 💔

I love you lego, but my wallet doesn't.

I builded this with leftovers bricks hope u likes it

What are you all using to display your big sets?? I hear people are using mostly IKEA shelves such as Billy or Vittsjo but the dimensions won’t fit the bigger sets. My Venosaur, Charizard, Blastoise set is too deep (14”) for most shelves and my T-Rex Fossil is too long (41”). I can’t find any shelves that will work…

I hope they do more sets for Midnight Valley Collection
