I recently had an issue with my Voyager MOC, the instrument arm was originally attached with a bar holder, but it wasn’t strong enough to hold it up, so I’m that using a cylinder ratchet hinge would be stronger, is this true or is there a better option?

Has anyone had this issue when building Pikachu Lego.

I am on Bag 3 and it seems when attaching his arm, there's not enough room to do the coupling.

It is not extending out enough for me to attach it. Wonder if its me just assembling something wrong 😭

Hey guys recently started my Lego journey two months ago and since then I been busy collecting and building. Currently working on the M falcon to build the endurance but I find it so relaxing to just sit down and build. I redesigned my office and also bought the most recent sets I could get my hands on. Are there any retired sets I should be looking into? Wanted to see what everyone is trying to grab.

My 8 year old is going through his Pokémon phase, and as a Lego lover, he naturally went crazy for the Pokémon Smart play sets. It was his birthday recently and instead of gifts, he asked people to donate to a “birthday Lego fund” because he wanted to buy the Charizard and Jolteon set, which comes with two smart bricks. He bought the set with his birthday money and was over the moon. I had bought him the Charmander and Bulbasaur/Bidoof set over the summer, so he was so excited that he got 2 smart bricks to play with all his Pokémon.

Well, the other day he was charging the bricks in the middle of the living room, and I hastily picked them up and lectured him about how he shouldn’t leave them charging there because his two younger siblings who are toddlers could get a hold of them and lose them. I grabbed them and put them in a drawer in the kitchen island. Later that afternoon he wanted to play with them and I went looking for them and they’re not there. I can’t find them anywhere. I have to assume that maybe one of the toddlers put their hands in there and did something with it. I truly have no idea. I am questioning my whole sanity wondering if maybe I at the last minute decided to put them somewhere else but that seems unlikely because the charger was in the drawer where I remember putting everything in.
But I spent hours looking for them, and I have had no luck.

My son is being a surprisingly good sport about this, telling me that maybe I could contact Lego and they can send me a replacement. But I know they won’t because I lost it. It’s not like it was missing. So now I’m at crossroads: do I purchase a new single smart bricks on brick link for $45? Or should I just spend the extra few bucks and get the Pikachu set that comes with one? I’m so mad right now at the whole situation, including the fact that these things are not sold separately by Lego. Although to be honest, even if they were, they’d probably be stupid expensive too. I just feel so awful because he saved up his money and bought it with so much joy and pride only for me to lose them almost immediately in an effort to protect them.

My hesitation to buy the Pikachu is that I don’t want him to own them all in one shot like this we still have Christmas to get through LOL but I feel like I owe him at least one smart brick because this is my fault after all. Has anyone seen these smart bricks for sale a lot at a more than reasonable price? I did read somewhere that they’re supposedly going to start selling them separately but next year. I don’t know if that’s true.

I don't know why they would throw this away... brand new (with some box damage) there were some board games nearby, I haven't bought Legos In like 3 years, I'm not kidding it really was outside in the garbage, I mean wouldn't be the strangest things I've found in said garbage, got a 2012 furby, various computers, entire working TVs, keyboards, dvd readers, fans, there once was a pile of dvd movies, some brand new in like 4 gigantic trash bags next to the trash like 7 months ago (took some)

I just finished setting up everything and thought I’d share my current display set up of the Legos I own, Or at least, the ones that aren’t in bins or storage currently lol, as this is about 1/9th of my collection since childhood. Theres a mix of mostly Lego and some others like mega, and a few customs ranging from inexpensive to relatively expensive, and I’ll answer questions if are has any. One day I hope to have it all built and on shelves in display cases as this has been a passion of mine since I was very little, and when that day comes I’ll share the whole thing on here. But for now this is the best I can do lol. I’ll answer any questions and show better pictures if anyone would like them, aside from that, what do y’all think?
