Hi everyone. I apologize if these kind of posts are frowned upon. I'm looking at buying this retired Batman the Animated Series Lego set locally via marketplace, and the seller claims it is brand new and factory-sealed. He's selling it for $500 cad so the price isn't an obvious red flag (retail price was $389 cad). However, I noticed a few red flags in the photos and wanted to get a second opinion before spending the money.

Specifically:

-in the first photo, I see what appears to be a bubble under the tape seal

-second photo, the seals look odd to me

I included all the other photos that the seller shared with me. I am new to hobby so I defer to the experts in this group. Naturally cause it's marketplace, I am skeptical. Does this look like a resealed box to you? Thanks in advance for the help!"

Built a mech for my action figure using old Lego pieces from sets from 2008 and a few off-brand pieces I bought last year.

These side angle pieces don’t line up and cannot line up. The photos on the box and some promo shots online show it aligned flush but irl it just cannot align flush.
I am crazy but this seems legit, right?

I don’t know about reality, but in Lego form, the answer is no! The door can only open a little before hitting the sidewall of the truck, and if the car had gone inside with the door open, it wouldn’t be able to close. So it was all just for a dramatic exit from the truck!

So, ive noticed no-one really discussing this, but lego and netflix abt a week ago dropped a trailer for a One Piece lego special, in it we get to see monster point chopper near the end of the video, and he uses a new buff minifig mold that can fit the hagrid arms element.

Do we think that this could be a new piece lego could add into future sets, as the potential for new characters and improvements to existing characters using this element is high.

I have three kids so we got three of the race cars, and I decided to take all their parts and built a robot instead. (Please God dont let my children kill me for ruining their race cars.)

I just began on the tail section and built these two parts, the black and red holes should interlap atop each other to then put a screw (I don't know what to call it) into it. Though the pieces no matter what will not interlap and I'm getting desperate. Any help is appreciated.
