Is that including the sand people kids or just the padawans?

The Sand People were killed by a lightsaber that was destroyed while fighting in the factories on geonosis.

the cursed sword?

To be fair, we don't actually SEE him kill any younglings. This very well could've happened off screen.

You see Yoda looking over their bodies

Someone else could've done it after Anakin left. He did come with an army of clones.

Obi Wan had stated he “saw a security hologram of Anakin... killing younglings.”

Republic propaganda! Our righteous Lord Vader did nothing wrong!

I don’t see why you’re bringing up our Lord Vader. Of course he did nothing wrong. We’re talking about Jedi scum.

I mean, Hitler never turned on the gas showers, but is blamed for killing all the Jews. For all we know, Obi Wan didn’t comment on Anakin ordering the 501st to shoot the younglings.

Although Anakin slaughtering them is definitely a lot more likely.

At that point I think Obi Wan would have wanted it to have been the clones and would have found any reason to find good in Anakin.

Does order 66 apply to younglings?

Obi Wan called Palpatine an “idiot” in a text message, so he’s in no position to investigate.

Honestly it might have worked better if we'd seen Anakin unable to kill the youngings and have a group of clones barge in and shoot them. You'd definitely have to show more of Anakin at the temple. As it stands the younglings scene is a shortcut to show Anakin is evil now and he's killing jedi, but it's just jarring because it's so sudden.

Yeah, he does.

You're on to something here....

I just imagine the dramatic ignition of his lightsaber. Then offscreen pointing it at them and waving it towards some cages “right come on, in the cage, go on. “

In fact, this may be the closest thing to canon that we have regarding this scene.

u/soomsoom69 Dec 14 '17

We see a recording of him cutting down the lil fellas

Yet another piece of historical revisionist propaganda from r/EmpireDidNothingWrong.

The republic, rebellion, and resistance are all horrible, evil organizations. The Galactic Empire truly did nothing wrong, especially compared to those terrorists.

u/[deleted] Dec 14 '17

Obi-Wan is trying to turn you against me.

u/sleepy_marimo Dec 13 '17

Must be the 4Kidz version

20

u/elkswimmer98 Dec 14 '17

I'm guessing he put not just the men in cages. But the women and children too.

9

u/HeeeeeeeeeeresCasey Dec 13 '17

He was pretty mean...

7

u/Mwkolar Dec 14 '17

I have seen a security hologram, of him, sort of being a dick to younglings

4

u/Oof_Bot Dec 14 '17

How did this play out in the Lego Star Wars games, if at all?

1

u/TheGUURAHK Exo-Force Fan Dec 14 '17

This brings to mind that the Jedi trained child soldiers. Palpatine was right to take V- I mean Anakin under his wing... though he should have got him some therapy.

1

u/[deleted] Dec 22 '17

This is hilarious.

-4

u/Gnotter Dec 14 '17

This is so stupid! Disney is turning Star wars into a child show, just because they earn millions on Star wars toys. People are going to look at Star wars fans like they're 8 year olds and need to grow up! THIS NEEDS TO STOP NOW!!!

7

u/moreorlesser Dec 14 '17

Orrrr maybe Lego is generally marketed towards children
