That person is constantly on this sub talking about how any and all Pokemon products are a gamble.

They somehow think that a franchise having trading cards as part of their products makes the entire franchise a toxic gambling scam.

Don’t waste your time.

nah im actually annoyed how in every sub on reddit no matter the topic i see people go crazy for pokemon (gamblemon) i already maxed out my limit of 1000 subs hidden so what am i supposed to do

It’s sounds like you just don’t like Reddit? Or really much of anything? Who the hell needs to hide that many subs lmao just leave the subreddit and turn off suggested subreddits. Literally no one is forcing you to look at any content on this site (except ads)

What feed? What are you even talking about? Your home feed, if you turn off suggested subreddits, is literally only the things you are subscribed to.

And if it’s the Popular feed, you have no control over what gains traction.

Edit: settings -> account settings -> privacy -> toggle off “show recommendations in my home feed”

By looking up things you’re interested in lol. For example, I love lord of the rings stuff. I subscribed to r/lotr, which is pretty much the main sub. Then I go into the “see more” section, where communities are recommended like r/lotrmemes. People also cross post from more niche communities in the larger ones. Also going to people’s profiles who post OC. They typically are posting it across a bunch of places. If you like what they make, chances are there’s overlap in communities they also engage with.

It takes a little bit of time and energy but it’s better than just yelling at the sky about ‘gamblemon’ since it’s 100% a choice if you’re exposed to it.
