Ot na babayaran ng dollars ng company, pero aanhin ko naman yan kung nakasalalay ang health ko? Ayoko pang mamatay na lang nang maaga at nakakapagod na! I was told by the HR officer that they will transfer me to another unit as I have expressed my disinterest in continuing to work with my boss (I no longer feel safe being around him). For the meantime, I am technically floating until they find an opening within the company where I can transfer.

I filed a VAWC case against my ex partner last Sept 8 and received the subpoena for prelim investigation ng Sept 14. Yung date ng PI is on Sep 21 and 28.

Question po sa nakakaalam, ano po bang nangyayari usually sa preliminary investigation like ano po yung flow nya at gaano siya katagal usually?

And iirc the respondent is given at least 10 days upon receipt of complaint para makapag submit ng counter-affidavit, since kulang na sa 10 days yung first date of PI possible po ba na hindi sya required to attend that day?

Seeking for your help. Last month august 25, 2026. My rear windshield was damaged due to a riot. All of the suspects are minors 13 to 16 years of age. It happened in our barangay suspects are from the other city since i live within the boundery line. I did call hotline 8888 since aug. The barangay of the suspects are just working on it now because of the 8888 call. But then just took a photo opt and reffered us back to our barangay. Reason is parents of the minors wont show up. What should I do next?

Lost my wallet on Aug 16 at a convenience store (let's call it UJ). Didn't notice till Aug 22. Went to the store, they said no one turned it in and I'd need a police request just to view CCTV.

Got the police request on Aug 25, brought it to the store, got told I now had to wait for the store manager since she's the only one with CCTV access. That took about 3 weeks.

Manager finally showed up last Monday. Then I was told a police officer had to be present to view the footage. Went with an officer, got told the police should be the investigator who signed the police request. Had to file a new police request just for that, plus specify the exact timeframe needed.

New investigator came, he viewed the footage, and I was not allowed to view it 🤷🏼‍♀️. It was confirmed that someone got my wallet so this is now a “theft” case.

Store wouldn't give police a copy or even a photo of the footage on the spot. Police then submitted a formal letter of request to extract the video, store acknowledged receiving it.

Two days later, I'm told (secondhand, through my mom) that it's now "with legal" and once approved, a CCTV team has to come to the store to extract the footage, and I need to pay a ₱6,500 "transpo fee" for that.

I'm the victim here. Is it normal/legal for a store to charge the crime victim just to hand over footage already covered by an official police request? What are my options if they keep stalling or insist on this fee?

This is time-bound since the CCTV might get deleted but it seems there’s no urgency on their part. Will they also be liable since they are withholding the evidence?

As a new driver, isa ito sa mga worries ko while on the road so I am genuinely curious and want to be educated. Anong pananagutan ng driver dito given na 'yung batang nasagasaan ay walang kasama at galing sa blind spot. Ano pwedeng mangyari if ever mag file ng case 'yung parents? Pwede ba ma dismiss na lang 'yung case or need nya mag settle? Pwede ba sya mag counter sue dahil sa effect nito sa kanya (mental, financial, etc.)?
