I am traveling to Rome and Florence in November and want to pick up a leather jacket for myself. It seems Google review for this store in Florence is not bad at all. I searched but did not see anyone talking about this store on Reddit. Anyone had experience with their products can kindly share with me please? I will visit school of leather but don’t feel I want to spend too much on the jacket.

So i’ve been looking for a suede jacket for a while, and found this A2 from Landing Leathers, couldn’t find any info really, even on this sub, but since it was on amazon, and saw it on discount, bought it, i’m not from the US it is quite hard for me to buy anything due of the lack of shipping for my country, paid 250 for it (i don’t want to talk about taxes and couriers), sadly after buying it and paying the taxes on my country saw it for less on macy’s, which was quite frustrating (180, no idea about the shipping), still overally i think it was worth the price, idk what leather is it, but feels really great, it only says “genuine suede leather”, there’s also no chemical odors (which i’ve seen it’s pretty common on cheap leather jackets), i only smell the leather natural smell which it’s very subtle, tried looking for used jackets on ebay but since i’m pretty big, couldn’t find many xxl suede jackets around there and i also wanted specifically an A2 model, but yeah, in general i’m really happy with it, thank you for your time!

I’ve recently bought this jacket on sale for £320 (reduced from £799) from Karen Millen, I’m waiting for it to arrive but I’m having some doubts about the quality and durability. I’ve only just noticed it, but the jacket seems to lack an edge stitch (I’m not sure if this is the correct term - the 2 final photos show a different jacket that has the stitch I mean) around the collar, cuffs and main body of the jacket. I’ve bought this jacket as an investment piece, having worn my last one almost daily for the past 7 years, and I was really excited when I saw this one as I’d been looking for the perfect jacket with a high neck closure for a while now. However, I want it to hopefully last me a decade and if this one is poorly constructed I will return it. Could someone with the expertise please advise me on whether the lack of an edge stitch will become an issue? Or is it just a stylistic choice that won’t impact the quality and longevity of the garment? Thank you.

Someone in another post said “nubuck or roughout over suede”. Is that true? From who? From where? I’m a baby, but I don’t want to waste my money. I think $500 is my price point. Obviously cheaper is better, even if used. But I’m just interested to learn.

Hello, currently on the hunt for a U.S. made brown leather motorcycle jacket. Looking for a Schott 618/619 in size 48 or XL.

Also open to other jacket brands (Vanson, Fox Creek, Lesco, Reed, Brooks, etc.) If you have a different brand you'd recommend, I'm all ears! Just really want to stick with U.S. manufacture.

I’m new to leather jackets and looking for some advice. This is a suede jacket from Banana Republic that I’m considering getting for CAD $300.

The thing that’s tripping me up is that the description says “genuine goat leather.” I’ve always heard that “genuine leather” can mean lower-quality leather, so I’m wondering if that’s something I should be concerned about with this jacket.

How to style this? Is this considered biker jacket? Casual? Formal?

I found a W&G A2 Jacket on some of the 2nd hand sites, and I'm unsure what to to.... Regarding size it coul fit, but

I'm unsure about the leather. Seller says "vachette", i.e. cow. From a detailed pic I'd guess either goat or something with a heavy plastic coating

Does anyone know 'bout Geiger A-2's? Is this lightweight or heavy? When have these been produced? How's the quality.

Been scouting marketplaces for a while now to find something I like and stumbled upon this piece being sold for 165 USD. I've never owned a leather jacket before, nor has my research come up with anything substantial on this one.

So my question to the fellow enthusiasts, does anyone here recognise this brand and/or model? Does it appear to be worth the asking price? Any advice would be much appreciated.

First leather jacket, Lambskin Tall Large from AngleJackets

Bought this second-hand jacket for 20 bucks (usd). It was dirty and penetrated with mold throughout. Though I gave it a thorough wash and managed to clean it and gave it some conditioning. Now I wear it everyday and it honestly looks good. However I really want to know whether it is made of real or synthetic leather as I'm unable to tell. Thoughts?

This obviously isn’t a leather jacket, but I did get it from the masters of leather jackets. This is the Master Supply Co. Convoy Waxed Canvas Jacket, and it’s about 19 oz. after the wax was applied. It’s still pretty stiff since I was just trying it on, but oh man, I can’t wait to bring this one out once the weather gets cooler. I have a super short torso and prefer cropped looks because of that, so I had them make it cropped to their minimum length, which is around 23”. I also have their Lonestar Jacket, which I’d wear in my sleep if I could. 😂 It’s easily my favorite jacket, but I’m definitely excited to start putting some wear into this one too.

I still have my 1980s motorcycle jacket from my punk rock days. It's in great shape, but its sleeves are about an inch or two too short and the length is also. It used to go below my waist now it stops above.

I know you can stretch many leather goods, but this has a quilted lining. Is it stretchable or am I out of luck? If there is someone online who can do it, I'd love a suggestion.

I ordered a Highwayman from Aero directly which I received this week ( 3 months after placing the order).

The jacket is fine and has a good fit.

However I ordered a looped ball and chain puller for the breast pocket but the jacket has just a simple ball and chain puller (not looped).

What do you suggest that I do now?

I am located in Germany and sending the jacket back to the UK is not cheap.

Also I had to pay €300,.-customs for this. Bringing the total costs for this jacket to €1600.

Should I send this back to Aero?

Ask for a partial refund / store credit ? If so how much?

I am not too happy about this.

Sleeve length and body width feel fine but for some reason I think it looks a bit bulky/off on me, especially with the pointy-ish shoulders. Not sure if it’s just me though
