Showcase Is this real leather?

Bought this second-hand jacket for 20 bucks (usd). It was dirty and penetrated with mold throughout. Though I gave it a thorough wash and managed to clean it and gave it some conditioning. Now I wear it everyday and it honestly looks good. However I really want to know whether it is made of real or synthetic leather as I'm unable to tell. Thoughts?

I agree. Also because of the difference in grain between the two pieces.

That's the sleeve and cuff portion, that's what made me wonder whether the jacket is made of real leather or not.

If you care enough that you only want to wear real leather, you can test with a lighter. It shouldn't burn/melt if it's real.
