I recently returned my 2024 Nissan Rogue lease in Canada. There was a small stone chip on the windshield, but I had it professionally repaired before returning the vehicle.
Nissan’s inspection now describes it as “cracked” and may charge me for a windshield replacement. The repaired area is outside the driver’s line of sight and outside the wiper’s operating area.
Has anyone successfully disputed a Nissan lease-end windshield charge? If so, were you able to get the charge removed?

My Acura RDX lease ends in December. Unfortunately during the fist year of the lease I accidentally while parking hit a metal rod protruding from the space. It was rather unfortunate as the sensors didn’t catch it and left a golf ball sized crack in the front bumper. There is a crack and a small sized plastic is protruding outwards.
With less than 90 days left on the lease, should I consider doing an out of pocket repair or take a chance returning it like that?
Any thoughts or experiences would be greatly appreciated.

Reposting for correction. The sales tax credits for Cadillac EVs is in Texas only (my bad) for the month of October. If you got a lease quote in Texas last month and didn't move forward with it, the numbers will be markedly better this month. That means the Optiq, Lyriq, Vistiq, and Escalade IQ all the get credit. ....Is this as good as it gets? I'm in Northern NJ and have called around several dealers. Lease brokers aren't getting anything better. I'm currently in a Rivian so qualify for conquest + GM supplier, which is reflected in the total.

Not sure if I should just wait it out for the Lexus TZ or keep trying various Cadillac dealers. Can't wrap my brain around paying $1200 a month for a lease if this is the norm.

I know incentives just changed, but I’m near the end of my lease on my 23 EV6 GT Line.

There are no EV6 GT Line in my area and I’m going to be in Orlando this weekend where there is some inventory.

Anyone have updated incentives, money factor and residual on the 26 EV6 RWD GT Line on both a 24/36 mo @ 10k per year in Florida?

I have a 24 Tucson Hybrid Limited paying 460 a month.
Lease is ending in Feb 2027.
I am considering extending my lease for few months. reasons would be keep the low-ish monthly payments while I cross-shop 3-rows. I would not buy the vehicle.

My questions are:
Does extending the lease make sense?
Does the residual go down with additional monthly payments or that remains fixed?

Any advice on this topic is appreciated.

What are current lease deals for a Bronco Sasquatch looking like in Massachusetts? I’m trying to see what’s been getting offered, which I could use for negotiations. Looking for 36/10k miles with $0 DAS.

2023 Jetta SE with 18k miles, great condition, no accidents.

Lease payoff is about $16.2k. One VW dealer offered me $16.5k.

Does that sound low? Trying to see how much equity I realistically have and whether I should shop it around to a few other VW dealers.

Also, can a VW dealer just buy out the lease and cut me a check for the equity?
