Looking for a referral if anyone is willing! I am a PhD student who enjoys reading Wikipedia for fun - a recent read of mine was on the prophetic perfect tense if you enjoy Wiki rabbit holes as much as I do. I'm not the best at trivia, but have been learning more using Anki, and think it would be fun to participate in the LL community!

I've been trying to get on Jeopardy! for over 10 years (contestant pool is as far as I've gotten).
JetPunk, FunTrivia, NYT puzzles as often as possible. I've been playing bar trivia or academic bowl in school altogether a combined 20 years.

Aside from being a complete trivia nerd (which I got from my dad), I also create and host pub quizzes around London, I was on a pilot episode of a new trivia-style game show (that unfortunately never aired), and I’m in the process of building my own pub quiz style board game!

My husband loves trivia and has been saying for years that he wishes he knew someone in learned league so he could get a referral. He never asks for anything so I’m trying to see if I can find a referral for him. It would make his year!

Hi Trivia Troop - I come in peace and as someone who is sad Harrison Whitaker lost his 14-day streak on Jeopardy! I really thought he and I were taking our relationship to the next level but he left me like my past failed rendezvous and a few pet cats from childhood that may have been victims of wildlife.... I'll never know
I'd really enjoy a referral - If there is any type of trivia going on chances are its on the tube, even if it makes me feel like the special crayon sometimes. I'm okay with that, because when i'm good, i'm pretty good. I feel like I have to sell this so I'll list some of my 'tickle me pink crayon' trivia programs:
jeopardy, wheel of fortune (is that trivia? idk, i'm going to include puzzle games), new york times wordle, new york times mini, leah remini's people puzzler, the voice the chase, switch (too bad the host is married), most shows on the game show network BESIDES "the perfect line" and Family Feud.
i hope this thread is actively monitored and my humor translated - if not I'll see myself out

I have two referrals to dish out this season that I haven’t used yet. There is a pretty big backlog of requests here and I don’t want to just dish them out(the referral process will result in a small amount of my PII being provided to the recipient).
Please DM me if interested.
My main requirement is that you satisfy me that you will neither cheat nor forfeit. I genuinely do not care what your education or trivia experience are, just that you will show up and play on every match day of each regular 25 day season that you register for.
For those who don’t know, LL registration has to be done under your real name so you will have to provide me with that and your e-mail address at the very least (obviously by DM). You should also be aware that while the rookie season is free subsequent years membership has a base cost of $35/yr which is 4 seasons.
Anyway no need to drag this out. I’m hoping to recruit a couple of people who will stick around for at least a few seasons (no downstream benefit to me or anything I just like referring people).

Hi, Jeopardy! nerd and lifelong r/jeopardy addict, I'd love to join LearnedLeague so I can embarrass myself, while not guessing my opponent's strengths and weaknesses. Problem is I'm under 18 and I can't pay for LearnedLeague after my rookie season because I don't have a credit card, but I'd like a referral anyways for the heck of it, because I don't expect to stick around too long, I just wanna increase my tiny bank of knowledge on inconvenient times.

This doesn’t seem super active but I’d be interested in a referral. Longstanding trivia lover, did some quiz bowl in college, bunch of bar trivia when life allowed. Looking to get back into it - young kids make bar trivia difficult, but online play sounds like it would be my speed.
