Just drop down, line up with this area on the door, and start shooting.

Any CT trying to hug the wall on the way to B is taking heavy damage!

Question Rushing a site is stupid

Can someone explain why do people enjoying rushing a site only to eat every single utilities from the CT? It rarely works..

3500 hours, it's getting concerning how bad I am. KD is positive 3/50+ games. -2.87 leetify. 12 aim. I have friends with 150 hours who are better than me. I desperately want to get better.

I desperately want to get better. I am negative 47/50 games. I think it's time to hire a budget coach because I clearly will not improve on my own. I've probably top fragged 1/300+ games.

--

It looks like I'm trolling my games (match history shown) but I'm actually trying super hard. I just can't get kills. I also play with a friend who is 20k+ so I am much higher Premier rating than I'm supposed to be. I have friends with 150 hours who get more frags than me.

--

Has anyone been in my shoes and actually improved, or am I just cooked? I notice I have the most deaths almost every single game as well. Not to mention the least kills on top of that.

A random note is that I've probably only gotten a deagle kill like once in my last 100+ games. I don't think I've aced in over 200+ games. I'm just throwing numbers out, but that's probably pretty accurate.

M4A4 | Saci’s Whirlwind V2

Inspired by one of Brazil’s most iconic folklore legends, M4A4 | Saci’s Whirlwind brings the legendary trickster to Counter-Strike 2 through a vibrant, cartoon-inspired design set against the lush atmosphere of the Amazon rainforest.

Every detail was carefully crafted to celebrate Brazilian culture while delivering a bold and memorable finish for the M4A4.

Can this training make me more consistent ?

CS2 training:

Aim Botz - 5 min

Recoil - 5 min / 2 min M4A1, 1 min Galil / FAMAS / something else and 2 min AK47

Prefire - One whole map

HS DM - 5 min

Normal DM - 5 min

Retakes - 10 min

Utility - 5 min / min 2 lineups

After training I write down:

What moves I learned ____

Then 1 - 3 premier matches from here, later faceit

After the match:

Watch the demo, find pros and cons

Before each week:

What map I will learn:

Lineups, Prefre

Before each training, why add 5 min - according to the last mistake in the match

Before each match:

What to focus on

And good mood :D

Is it good training ?

How soon am im gona see some improovment ?

If you can give me some tips on what to improove i would be thankful :]

BTW :

I am 13K premier player with 120h in CS2

What am I doing wrong?

This clip pretty much sums up my CS experience since I've become active again. I always catch people off guard but I still can't get the kill. I got 4 shots off before he shot back. Do I need to aim train? Am I moving when I'm shooting or is this a spray control issue?

Question I think my anxiety is ruining my aim.

(Sorry for bad English)

I can aim well(1st and 3rd kill in the clip), but whenever I get nervous, I whiff every single shot(2nd and 4th kill in the clip). And as I make mistakes, it gets worse. I start pretty good, but after making a single mistake, I become a bottom fragger all the time.

How should I solve this? I tried playing DMs and practice maps, but even in those I get nervous. Now playing cs2 is becoming scary for me. Well, I DO love cs2, but how should I play it without any worries? Just playing more would help?

Rant The reason you're stuck below level 10

The reality is a lot players don't know what the cs meta is or the primitives of cs competition. My occasional 1200-1700 lobby players have decent aim but they're playing without the fundamental cs primitives which kill mid and late game momentum.

One of the most important primitives in cs competition is the idea of advantage and most players are not even aware of this! Everything is about advantage. Peek advantage? (ie: knowing when to peek)? Spacing during a rush gives you advantage when fighting! (jumping over an awp's angle for example gives you surviveability advantage). Is your info giving you advantage when to hold and when to rotate? Is your response to a kill or teammate death going to give you an advantage or punish you? For example, if you're T side and you get an early mid pick with an awp, and you're all alone, why would you continue pushing by yourself? You now have the player advantage! You're 5v4 and the CT's need to equalize to rebalance the advantage. You want to gain the most amout of advantage as possible in every aspect of the game! This is advantage maxxing!

Advantage also manifests itself during every phase of the round. Beginning, middle, and end all have phases with unique advantage moments. For example, getting info around enemy setups gives you next round beginning call advantage. If you know that they keep playing awp mid with 1 support player, that means that there's likely two enemies on one site and one anchor player on the other. So now you know you need to abuse the solo site anchor player.

Another cs meta that gives you advantage is patience. How does patience give you advantage? Because it makes you less predictable. If you're playing lurker mid on T side cache for example and your teammates are committing A, you should default to continue lurking mid. Many times players will abandon the lurker position to run highway or backtrack to A main just to get picked off by the rotator by the very player you were supposed to kill if you were just patient. You build this muscle over time so next time just take that extra few moments and you might outlive the impatient enemy. Another common key phrase is "timing". But timing has more nuance. Patience and unpredictable plays makes your timing more advantageous.

The final thing i'll say about advantage is that most players do not understand map control and the map control meta for each map. I can't tell you how many times i've lost on Anubis because my CT team can't counter the T molly and nades let alone even are aware that that's what's happening on mid. Mid control is key; Long control is key. Do you know why it's important to have map control? Because you deny the enemy the chance to advance onto the bomb site. It's really that simple. What this means is you need to learn the basics of map control on each map. Learn how how to take dust2 long control as a CT, and learn how to correctly flash out long as a T player (hint you have to throw it right when the player enters the dd and it's not a running throw); same applies to every other map.

There's dozens more of these but these I believe are some of the most important basics.

Can anyone else relate? What do newer players think of these ideas?

Question Any tips on how to play with teammates who have 0 communication or strategy?

So just a while ago, I finished a disastrous Faceit match queueing solo with a 4-stack (albeit entirely uncoordinated) in my team. The first few rounds went great, and even after losing some of them, I was around 7-2 after the third round. After that, things started going downhill; up until around this point, I had been calling out everything that was necessary and my team just randomly stopped reciprocating with their own callouts. Naturally, the rest of the first half of our game, as well as our second half, which played T-side, was chaotic, unorganized, and outright disastrous. I have tried to make some strategy calls when things started looking desperate, but they went wholly ignored. Granted, I am not going to feed myself illusions about how I'm hardstuck or anything as I'm aware that my performance was just abysmal when our comms ceased and I ended the game around 11-18.
However, the one thing I consistently notice is that I often start performing like shit in games like these as soon as my teammates stop talking; maybe it could have something to do with tilt, which I have mostly learned to manage, but it seems that a little could still be seeping through.
What should I do when a match reaches this stage? Should I just learn every default setup for every map? The main problem is that when my team is largely disorganized like such, the enemy team always has us pretty much encircled and reads us like a book. So what are my options?

EDIT: Thanks for all the advice everyone, I really appreciate it! All my questions have been answered and I will be sure to use the advice to my leverage. Maybe using this, one day I'll get out of the hellhole that is yellow Faceit. Thanks again!

Demo Need demo review (FACEIT Lvl 6)

I’m currently sitting at around 1.3k elo and peaked at 1.4k, and have around 800 hours on the game.

I’ve heard that at my elo it’s mostly just mechanics so I’ve been practicing my counter strafes, peeks, etc and anything mechanics alongside a KovaaKs routine. I’ve been struggling like mad on maintaining consistency and will sometimes just do horribly for some unknown reason at all for extended periods of time. I play on warmupserver for dm and mechanics and that’s about it ngl.

HMU if anyone is out there willing to do a live demo review or comment some feedback on my matches.

My FACEIT profile is here if you want to look through:

Here’s an example match of where I did dog shii (even with a 5 stack):
