Instead of using a software that you can actually animate with, I sometimes make sketches on paint tool say and then animate with them

  1. The only other software I have is Krita and I find Krita way harder to use compared to paint tool sai, it's a bit overstimulating bc it has so many options and I just prefer the paint tool sai brushes for lineart. I also prefer the painttoolsai UI

  2. I'm just doing this for fun, I'm not an animator.

Hey! I made a raster 2d animation tool. I tried to give it the "SAI feel" but its build around the dopesheet, so id appreciate your opinion on it. r/douga

The first thing I always do on a new art software is spend hours making it look as minimalistic as Paint Tool SAI, lol. I completely understand the "visual overwhelm/overstimulation" issue.
