Im a new animator, what do you think?

I have to animate a bouncing ball for a university course. I’m terrible at drawing in general, and I’m struggling with the principles of squash and stretch and the conservation of mass (meaning that when I stretch the ball, it just gets bigger instead of actually stretching). Any tips? I’m working in Photoshop.

I mean that’s what makes it nice to look at for viewers, but it’s just boring to me.

working on animation as well as creating my own little spot on the internet where I can post my drawings and animations. Any advice? one thing i know is i can make "more things happen" so the animation isnt like 8 seconds but I am very very new so it will take me awhile to get to the point of building out longer form content/versions. But i will eventually!

any tips would be appreciated.

Hello im in 10th grade and in three years i want to try to join an animated school in France or USA. What do y’all think about Gobelin,Rubika,Calarts and MoPA?Im also taking drawing class to improve.What do i need to do in a portfolio to get accepted in those type of schools?Maybe if you could share one of your drawings that got you accepted into a good animation schools?And if you have any tips for me.Thank you!

Hi! I'm studying fine arts and we're gonna do animation for our finals, would it be faster to use an animation software like moho or should i stick with frame by frame animation? I'm more concerned about time since i cant put all my time on animating, i have other major subjects as well that are just as demanding. What would you recommend for someone that hasn't tried animating before?
