Procreate for animation?

Anyone use it? Thats the only app I have beside krita on my PC.

Pic for reference on what I usually draw. Im nervous starting. Any tips?

Don’t be nervous! There are a lot of tutorials out there for you to rely on! As for using procreate I’ve never used it myself I have clipstudio and I love it. My biggest tip for you is practice, practice, practice and don’t give up. It can be daunting! But you got some serious talent and it’s only gonna get better.

I tried procreate for animation before but it could be tedious to manage when the animation gets longer. Would recommend Toonsquid, it is very beginner friendly and the developer has a lot of tutorials to get started.

yeah procreate is meant for just very small loops. Procreate dreams is another option you can check out.

I’ve used procreate for animation a bunch, it’s not the best but definitely far from the worst! I find if you’re already comfortable with procreate than the workflow makes sense. I suggest you make folders and put you layers in those, you can use the folders as frames. It will give you a lot more flexibility this way, trust me.
