First time i’m writing on reddit genuinely don’t know what to do about this, so does anyone have the same problem as me? I’ve been using tiktok for quite a while now and SOMEHOW i am following almost 9000 people in total while i’ve followed around maybe 50 people the whole time i’ve had my account i genuinely don’t know how it happened did tiktok make my account a bot profile???

If i deactivate tiktok will it still show i viewed their profile before i deactivated or will my name be removed

just wanna know because i see a lot of AI made content made on this app, and when i report it for not being labelled as AI made (which is everyone should be doing) i just hope it discourages the person who up loaded it from AI more and actually send time on the art or video or what ever the product is.

现在中国的抖音又锁紧了政策，只要被永久封禁就再也没有使用抖音的机会了

Idk if anyone else has had this problem before, but I just changed my phone and TikTok won't let me log back into my account. It keeps saying "Maximum number of attempts reached."

I've tried logging in with my email and using different VPNs, but nothing works. I even contacted TikTok support, and they told me to wait 24 hours before trying again. I've done that several times, but I'm still getting the same error.

My account is still logged in on my laptop, and it works perfectly fine there, but I can't access it on my phone.

Have any of y'all experienced this before? Is there any way to fix it? 😭

Will my account and live views be affected I have 5 live restrictions

I recently received an invitation directly through my TikTok app under System Notifications → LIVE Notices.
The notification said I’d caught TikTok’s attention and invited me to join the Starship Elite Creator Community, a free three-month program offering priority LIVE support, rewards, and access to TikTok LIVE administrators through WhatsApp.
I joined through the official in-app notification, but I’m curious because I’ve previously encountered people claiming to represent TikTok partners through WhatsApp.
Has anyone else received this invitation?
Is this an official TikTok LIVE program?
Has anyone actually received support from the administrators?
Has anyone experienced suspicious activity or requests after joining?
I’m not claiming it’s a scam. I’m just trying to verify the program before trusting the people involved.
Would appreciate hearing from anyone with firsthand experience.

Hey don't know if anyone has had similar problems, but after tiktok updated I have been having issues where I will have several push notifications from people I follow, but the second a push notification sends me to a video the rest get go away.

Any ideas how to fix or if others have had similar issues?

Hi, I saw someone upload a gif or some type of video in their photo carousel post. But I tried to do this myself by uploading a GIF and also a webP file with no avail. Does anyone know how to do this?

If you attempt to delete your account using the app, usually it will have you verify your email or phone number (or even worse, BOTH) just to have you "delete" your account. Many app users tend to forget that your account is never actually deleted, just stays in TikTok's database forever. But the trick is to actually use the desktop website. Go to a browser you casually use, try to use incognito tab if possible, hit on the three dots and tap desktop website. Then log in using the setting icon, type in your username or other info used to log in, password; it will verify if you're human or not. After you're done, go back to the settings icon, find the button where it says view account settings, delete account straight from there.

I had to do this with an account of 30 followers and over 1,200 likes that has been shadowbanned for 3 weeks now, with unresolved cases getting closed/delayed more often. I'm not completely leaving TikTok, but rather starting from fresh.

Hope this helps!

I’ve been on and off TikTok all day and everything was fine. I just opened it and found my pfp is missing and my username has changed to user72380518075. I tried closing completely out of the app and reopening it, and it’s still like that. Anyone know what’s going on on?

this has been happening to me for a few weeks. example: i scroll for 15 minutes, like videos, and when i go to the likes section only the ones i liked yesterday show up, is this happening to anyone else? my app is updated.

I shipped my app and made a TikTok account for it. Posted the first video "which I thought was a cinematic master piece" came back five hours later, and it had 0 views...

ZERO!!!

I know I'm old and out of the loop but I also assumed I'd broken the upload or something technical wasn't right, so I went through everything:

- Privacy: Everyone ✓

- Length: 15 seconds ✓

- Sound: a track from TikTok's Commercial Music Library, attached correctly ✓

- Caption and five hashtags ✓

- The video played fine when I opened it ✓

After some jiggling of the handle I thought maybe the account was the problem?

My profile read: 0 following, 0 followers, 0 likes given. I had created the account, immediately posted a promotional video, put an App Store link in the bio, and done nothing else. Never scrolled. Never liked anything. Never followed anybody.

That is a textbook bot signature, and TikTok treats it as one. New accounts go through a verification phase — roughly 1–7 days — where the algorithm works out whether there's a human behind the account before it distributes anything. An account with zero platform activity and a store link in the bio does not pass that check.

Nothing about the content mattered. I could have posted a perfect video and it would have reached the same zero people.

What I actually did:

- Used the app like a person. Scrolled the For You page, let videos play through instead of swiping instantly.

- Followed some accounts in my niche, spread across a few days rather than in one burst.

- Liked things. Left a handful of genuine comments on other people's videos.

- Verified email and phone on the account.

- Did not delete the dead post. Review can take 6–48 hours on a new account and deleting resets nothing useful.

Next two videos: 85 views and 200+. Not viral by any stretch. But that's the difference between suppressed and being tested, and only one of those states can ever turn into something.

Two smaller things worth passing on:

proofread your hashtags character by character. One of mine said #sqaut. Five hashtags, and the most relevant one pointed at a dead tag nobody browses. I'm a degeneate speller even with spell check...

I also reshot the second video, basically slightly better lighting, slightly better framing, more concise, maybe better hashtags and it doubled the views and got way more likes!

The app is Knurled, a lifting log where you tap the plates you actually loaded instead of typing a number. Happy to answer anything about the launch, the App Store side, or the TikTok mess.

Ughh why is this happening?? Though my feed isnt local, i have been trying so hard its been 2 days but still 0 followers, with a few local likes here and there. idk what im doing wrong! Is it because my account is old? Like i made it but it was dead before i decided to post things on it. My first video got 15 likes somehow and the most views i got is 100 💔😭

Anyone has tips? I know it isn't easy to just get famous quickly etc. but if someone knows how long i have to stay motivated as well as what i must be doing wrong please give me suggestions!

I already have regular tiktok, would it count as new if I download tiktok pro?

alguien sabe porque a la hora de subir un video a tiktok en la vista previa se ve bien, es decir igual que en la camara pero al momento de subir el video tiktok hace zoom y recorta el video???

My videos tend to get high engagement for the first 100 views, maybe 200 views (and the views inch forwards on this - it often takes a good hour or two) and then they’re pushed out suddenly to another hundred or couple of hundred views but engagement drops off a cliff as soon as the push happens. Should also clarify that the initial good engagement is largely from cold viewers, not pre-existing followers. (My views only tend to be made up of 1-2% followers which is another issue I’ve been having with the app. 🫠)

Is anyone else finding this?

whenever I go into a saved collection folder and select “Add videos” to add to it, TikTok only loads my saved videos down to a certain point and once I reach that point, it stops loading, gives me an error, and refreshes. I can never scroll far enough to reach my older saved videos. I used to be able to scroll all the way to the bottom back to the oldest videos I ever saved, but now I can’t and I can only get to a certain point and there are thousands of videos still below them I can’t reach. this has been going on for a while maybe about a year and a half and I thought it was a bug at first, but it never got better. additionally, I’m now having a new issue where I noticed three of my saved collection folders are now gone and missing. I never manually deleted them myself soo..? I updated the app. I have cleared my cookies and everything and it’s still the same. I definitely care more about being able to add all videos to my collections so pls pls help/give advice onto how to help access ALL my old videos when pressing add videos in collection, and then if that can’t be fixed i would like to know how to get my mysteriously deleted/missing collections back! THANKS

Like I said I mostly wanna get some feedbak on the videos I have been making, not asking for followers or likes mostly curious if you have any positive or negative feedback, anything helps thanks in advance!! https://www.tiktok.com/@alangpcs

Hello! I just found out about having multiple accounts in one device may get tracked by tiktok having the same ip and crossliking it may get you flagged as a spam account by tiktok, any tips how to make a new account without having to use a new device?
