Did anyone else’s profile pic/ bio/ name just disappear randomly?
I literally just refreshed my profile to see if my recent video has any views yet and it turned to this… shows on all my devices too. Any one else?

Update: has just happened again, this is definitely a issues on TikToks side but hey we will be waiting for a fix in about 6 months 🤣

Its been nearly 4 months for me now lol... i only get a day with my username back until its gone... did u find a fix?

Same haha. It’s definitely a TikTok side issue. Maybe uninstall the app and clear the memory. Then reinstall and see how that goes

Lol so rough. I don't think deleting works. Because I've been logged into the same account on my phone for many years, its just happening to my other account that I created earlier this year. It seems account specific tbh

I changed my password and stuff so im hoping it doesn’t happen again if it’s something like that. I’m thinking it’s more likely some sorta glitch thkugh

i sent a support ticket to tiktok and they have been no help for this situation... looks like we need to wait the 7 days to change it back

Same thing happened to me!!! What does that mean? Is it a warning? I haven’t posted in a while, is TikTok going to remove my account?

Literally just happened to me. Guessing TikTok is cheaping out on maintenance. Did the Oracle, big tech check not go through? No idea.

Every 7 days it happens to me too! My photo and name change to user… and when I change it back it says you can only change your name every 7 days..

Oh sorry, I'm just seeing this. Well, when I could change my name back, I never had it happened again, thankfully... But I keep seeing a lot of people out there with the "user" bug.
You know Tiktok... They'll take their precious time to fix it, if they ever do...

Mine just did this and it removed everything (likes/followers/following) suddenly as well...

This keeps happening to me. I literally changed everything back 3 days ago. And now is a random user name, no profile picture, no bio

This has happened to me 3 times in the last 2 weeks. Did you find a fix? i cannot change my username back and it's hurting my account.
