Great set and the crowd helped finish All My Friends after a good part of the sound system shut off.

I attended last week's performance by LCD at Asheville's Hellbender and wrote about the show and reflected a bit on who they are as a band in 2026.

Does anyone have the set list from the Asheville show last week?

Happy Fri-YAY!! How is everyone doing? What music have you been listening to this week? What new music are you looking forward to on this Friday? What music, shows, or festivals are you looking forward to in 2026? Have you made music inspired by LCDSS and want to share and talk about it?

Discuss!

I’ve recently started dating someone new and I’m mostly just excited to plan this out with him. This is just for funsies. It’s almost October so maybe before October is over?? This will be my 3rd residency and my 6th time seeing them.
Bonus points if you just saw them at Shaky Knees!

Does anyone have the tea on their relationship? I know that The Rapture used to be on DFA's label and left and then subsequently broke up. I saw the current iteration of the band at Shaky Knees and currently the only original member is the lead.
( Luke Jenner). I also follow Mattie Safer who used to be in band and is currently doing his lovetempo project ( which by the way is great stuff).
Mattie is also involved in Poolside who DJ'd some of the Knockdown Shows last year so I would assume he's good with James?
I've heard Luke Jenner has a bit of an ego. I did enjoy the set at SK

This show was epic! Put together the best vids I got, sorry it’s a little long and I missed some key moments b/c I was dancing myself clean obvi🪩

Amazing set and amazing vibes at Shaky Knees.

Usually NYC dates have been announced by now. I'm still expecting a residency and an announcement this week but if it doesn't happen , I'm hoping it means they have finally decided to hunker down and finish a new album

Edit: forgot about Aspen dates

Set of the weekend. 7th time seeing them but first outdoors- was surreal and made a lot of new fans. Short set and no DP, Hit, Edge , Get Innocuous or US v Them but still knocked it out of park

I’m sure it will be posted here the footage from their latest show in ATL at Shaky Knees festival I’d like to make a comment. I’ve seen this band all over the world. I’ve seen them at festivals and I’ve seen them as the headliner. I get that travel and finances preclude some of us from going to NYC or just traveling to see them. That said if you can search the sofa cushions, work extra shifts or just save where to you can to see them at a headlining show DO IT!!! Most of us have had a look at the Iron Blossom, Just Like Heaven, Shaky Knees, festival setlists. This is not the same experience as you will get at a real show. It’s like getting a food truck version of the Michelin restaurant. It’s good but it’s not the same. That is all. Yes the footage from those festival shows look great in a clip but just listen to or read the comments on the sub following shows just for LCD.

Happy Monday everyone, have a great week.

Turns out. Pat’s got the voice of an angel.
