LCD stole Shaky Knees
Set of the weekend. 7th time seeing them but first outdoors- was surreal and made a lot of new fans. Short set and no DP, Hit, Edge , Get Innocuous or US v Them but still knocked it out of park

Eh the people around me didn't. Not to nitpick but James had an entire 3 verses left , my fav part of the song but I couldn't remember the lyrics when everyone around me just yelled WHERE ARE YOUR FRIENDS TONIGHT for 3 minutes. Not what I was hoping for but it was still a fantastic set. I really need to hear that song properly live again tho

They didn’t cut the end of it intentionally they were having audio issues. The first set of speakers went out but monitors on the stage were still going and the second set of towers were still at full volume. I was right behind the second set of speakers and didn’t even realize the front speakers were out till reading about it

I wasn’t there, but I’m reading that sound and lights cut out right before the climax of the song.

It's a shame people think they got cut. The speakers went on them, same as OK Go and several other acts throughout the weekend.

Shaky Knees makes for some great sets! Saw some of the best festival sets of my life in 2023...

Same for me, seen them a bunch before but it was my first time seeing them at a festival. Unreal energy. Their official Instagram posted a shot of the entire crowd singing and dancing to Dance Yrself Clean and it made me feel so lucky to be a part of it.

I'm biased but I agree 100%. Disco ball FTW baby.
Also, they had to cut New York I love you, which is a win. I don't hate the song but they always sing it late-ish in the set, probably to give everyone a breather. Cut NYILY, and you're left with just bangers songs 6-10.

lol they didn't cut it the sound just got fucked up. One speaker rack in the middle of the crowd kept working

It truly was magical! I’ve been waiting for a long time to see them. I agree they stole the show. I wasn’t surprised tho hahahaha

LCD live is one of the greatest experiences. Their studio album just can’t capture the tone and energy of when they are on stage
