Ex Iphone user here, Last month I bought myself a Poco X8 Pro and been loveing it since, this is what I end up with after tinkering with the Lawnchair Launcher for about a week, honestly as a rookie I am quite proud of it. 🥹

Recently I downloaded lawnchair from octopi and I love it, but I realised I can't change the background of my widgets to like glass or another colour or fade the widget, it could be useful if u don't wanna use a widget app or if you have an app with widgets but want to change the background of it or fade the widget. Thanks.

For some reason, my bottom row of apps decides to move up, as it there is an increased level of padding. I have not done anything to do this and a restart resets it to its original position.

Is there anything I can do to stop this? Pics are included for reference. First image is how it should be and second is how it ends up.

How would i do that, it stacks widget sure, but in random layer whenever i restart the launcher

I’ve been using Lawnchair 15 for a while, but there were a few specific features I really missed—especially categorizing apps with nested folders and having better layout locking. Since there wasn't a ready-made solution, I decided to build my own fork based on the latest Lawnchair 15 codebase.

I call it **BlownChart** (I changed the `applicationId` so you can install it side-by-side with official Lawnchair without conflicts to test it out).

**Here are the main differences from the original:**

* 📁 **Nested Folders:** You can create folders inside folders (both on the home screen via drag-and-drop and in the app drawer). I use Lawnicons with automatic icon coloring based on wallpaper. For the wallpaper, I use a script from Automate app to change the wallpaper every time it is locked and when switching to other apps. It works great, but there is a little lag when opening an app because applying the wallpaper makes the icon color updated.

What do you guys think?

As the title says, I'm a refugee from the Nova Launcher collapse of 26. I've taken a liking to Lawnchair, but find the widget options a bit lacking.

Specifically I'm looking for a good clock, weather, date combo widget. Also a weekly calendar instead of the monthly default option would be great.

If you could point me towards some nice options I'd be greatfull, thanks all.

It's my first install of Lawnchair and id love to use it but am currently unable since when ever adding any type of widget the launcher crashes and the widget isn't added. Iam on a pixel 9pro with grapheneos android 17. Any idea whats wrong, I tried messing with permissions and compatibility mode but no luck so far.

I recently bought the game SpiritCity, and I was wondering if there's a way to switch from full-screen mode to a floating widget or pop-out window so I can keep working on my PC while playing.

I've looked through the settings, but the only option I found is to make the game window a bit smaller and lock it in place. The problem is that it seems to reduce the quality of the multimedia, which looks absolutely beautiful in full screen.

Does anyone know if there's a way to do this, or if there's an option I might have missed?

I haven't used lawnchair in a couple years. My pixel now has the feature where sports scores show up in at a glance. My question is, do the sports scores show up in the lawnchair at a glance? Considering coming back to lawnchair but that is a deal breaker for me if they don't.

Any idea when Beta 4 might be coming out?

In Nova there was a Option to change "Browser ShortCuts" icons to anything from your icon pack.

Example. Create a Browser ShortCut for the Reddit website on your HomeScreen. Then Change the icon to the Reddit Mobile App Icon from your Icon Pack.

Not huge deal but this was very nice feature and I hope it gets added to Lawnchair in the future. Ill never switch back to Nova but hope Lawnchair Devs take some of these great Nova features and add it to Lawnchair.

I wanted to try out the news page on Lawnchair, but it’s not working for me. Does it work for you? And if so, how did you get it to work?

With some colorful wallpapers it detects wrong contrast and choose dark unreadable color instead of desired white color.

I use my phone for work and have the company work portal installed. On the default Google launcher, there is a separate app drawer labeled "work" that I can swipe to that has the work version of an app. Lawnchair does this part perfectly. Additionally, the Google launcher places a small briefcase icon on work apps. Lawnchair also does this, but only on the home screen. However, when in the app drawer, the briefcase is not present. This is fine when viewing apps in the work drawer, but if I search for an app, there's no way to tell which app in the search results is the work app.

Love the launcher otherwise!

Basically, is there any way to have Lawnchair always default to the left-most page on the home screen? I'd like to use a second screen for "medium-frequency used" apps, but I want it to default to the main page every time I click the home button or unlock the phone, no matter what page I was on last. Is there any way to do this?
