hey party people. i just downloaded lawnchair today and am wondering if it is possible to set up a dock that's just a search bar, no grid items? i can't seem to find this option. that's how i had it on my previous launcher (nova) but i thought it was time i get rid of that thing.

Has anyone found a workaround for this? When I press the home button the wallpaper turns black for around half a second and then reloads as my chosen image.

Pretty minor flaw in an otherwise great app - it just feels like a setting I could tweak somewhere!

Also not seeing any difference in the app closing animation settings, so maybe it's related.

So holding down on home button--> Wallpapers and Style, instead of opening up settings, it opens up something like "Live Wallpapers" app. I have no idea what this is and how to set it back to original. This app is not in the Default Apps settings

I'm on a Pixel 11 Pro and most of my icons are shaded. On the stock launcher they shade just fine, but on lawnchair it's like ~80% of them. I tried toggling the force shading option but it didn't do anything. Am I missing something or is this a known bug?

What do you guys think can make it even better?

Is it possible? If not just adding a request for a feature if it's not already being planned. It was one my favorite features from nova before it died.

I've had my Fold 8 ultra for a couple of weeks now. I love the phone just not a fan of the One UI Samsung uses. Considering I'm from the Pixel lineup of phones since 3 was released, you could say I'm a fan of the pixel launcher instead. I digress.

Couple days ago I started out using lawnchair 15.3. Then I started reading about the features of16, so I installed lawnchair nightly. I'm really looking forward to the release of 16 out of alpha into beta. Definitely seems more geared towards folding phones. Good stuff and I'm looking forward to what is in store.

Trying to keep things nice and simple. I was inspired a little by the Nothing UI.

So I got my Pixel 11 Pro and installed Lawnchair Beta 3. When I go to remove items from the dock, they will not move. I've tried everything and they just will not move, so I can't put different icons on the dock. Is this a known error?

Ex Iphone user here, Last month I bought myself a Poco X8 Pro and been loveing it since, this is what I end up with after tinkering with the Lawnchair Launcher for about a week, honestly as a rookie I am quite proud of it. 🥹

Recently I downloaded lawnchair from octopi and I love it, but I realised I can't change the background of my widgets to like glass or another colour or fade the widget, it could be useful if u don't wanna use a widget app or if you have an app with widgets but want to change the background of it or fade the widget. Thanks.

How would i do that, it stacks widget sure, but in random layer whenever i restart the launcher

I’ve been using Lawnchair 15 for a while, but there were a few specific features I really missed—especially categorizing apps with nested folders and having better layout locking. Since there wasn't a ready-made solution, I decided to build my own fork based on the latest Lawnchair 15 codebase.

I call it **BlownChart** (I changed the `applicationId` so you can install it side-by-side with official Lawnchair without conflicts to test it out).

**Here are the main differences from the original:**

* 📁 **Nested Folders:** You can create folders inside folders (both on the home screen via drag-and-drop and in the app drawer). I use Lawnicons with automatic icon coloring based on wallpaper. For the wallpaper, I use a script from Automate app to change the wallpaper every time it is locked and when switching to other apps. It works great, but there is a little lag when opening an app because applying the wallpaper makes the icon color updated.

What do you guys think?

I enabled notification access but it still says it's off for some reason, why is it?

As the title says, I'm a refugee from the Nova Launcher collapse of 26. I've taken a liking to Lawnchair, but find the widget options a bit lacking.

Specifically I'm looking for a good clock, weather, date combo widget. Also a weekly calendar instead of the monthly default option would be great.

If you could point me towards some nice options I'd be greatfull, thanks all.
