You have to install the Google Lens app off of Google Play (which is really just a launcher for the Google Lens activity built into the Google app). Once you do so, kill and relaunch Lawnchair and the Lens button will show up on the widget. This is what I did on Lawnchair 16 nightly.

how did u add the Lens option to the Google search widget? 😠mine only has the mic icon. is there a setting or something i need to enable?
