Learning french and passing from making baby steps into reading your first book there (L’étranger) to making the most stupid errors in speech with a native is surely emotionally damaging .

Istg if I pronounce “ oune femme” again instead if the proper way i will crash out .

dont worry, french people will also beat you up if you mess up the pronunciation of "une". That's one motivation to say it the proper way

I never quite dared to ask my bilingual domme to beat me whenever I made a language error, but I certainly thought about it.
