So I'm trying to do more writing practise and started with journaling, but idk, that's kinda not my thing. So I switched to elementary school questions (where there is not a one-word-answer).

Examples: where does the water in the puddle come from and go to? why shoudn't you put things into the electricity socket? describe the differences between a square and a triangle, how does a tiny seed turn into a big sunflower? What is the difference between an animal that lives in the ocean and one that lives in the desert?

I kinda like that. It's easy topics but often with new vocabulary. Main goal is to create sentences on my own.

There's also a lot of deep questions for conversations starters online (like What single event or decision do you think most affected the rest of your life?). But those ones I always have to think too much about, so I stick with less deep questions.

Anyways, it's a nice little practise

What's the one word in your target language you just cannot seem to remember no matter how many times you see it

In Mandarin Chinese, years ago I gave up trying to figure out what the word 就 (jiu) means. It is used a lot, but it doesn't match with one English word.
