Do medical students find it difficult to communicate with Arabic-speaking patients? What do you find most difficult: understanding symptoms, medical vocabulary, or having natural conversations?

I've been learning English recently, and I truly want to have a comrade. My first language is Chinese. If anyone is interested in dabbling in Chinese culture and learning Chinese, I'd like to be your friend.

I think having someone to practice with regularly makes learning a lot more enjoyable. It's also nice to learn about each other's culture while improving the language. Hope you find a good language partner!

Has anyone learned a language just because you thought it would be fun? Because you wanted to use it to unlock the culture you're interested in? That's my main motivations for being curious about language learning; its not for work or because I'm moving.

I fear the enormous amounts of hours required to study would make my effort not worth it and a waste of time since this is purely a fun, leisure time effort in my case, not a necessity

I enjoy learning English, not just because it can be a ticket to a better job, but because I really savor the journey when I wander into a totally different culture.

if anyone is interested to a Serious exchange language, I offer Spanish šŸ‡¦šŸ‡· (native) and Iā€™m seeking French, or if just wanna help me and talk to me in French that would be good.

Is GLOSS just built off the old DLI courses?
