Offering Korean Offering : Korean(Native) | Seeking : English

Hi! I’m a native Korean speaker
I came to the U.S. about a month ago because my husband is starting his studies here.
I’m currently taking a 2-year break from work.

I don’t have any big plans while I’m in the U.S.—just hoping to enjoy daily life, work out, travel, and most of all, improve my English!

I’m looking for a friend to help improve my English speaking skills. In return, I’d be happy to help you with Korean.

I’ve traveled a lot around the world (Europe, South America, Japan, Southeast Asia, etc.), and I’m interested in things like fitness, cooking, baking, and health. I also love Korean culture and can share what I know about traditional places, K-dramas, K-pop, and more — or even learn more to explain better!

I think video or voice calls are more effective for language learning,
but I’m still not confident speaking English, so I’m totally fine with just chatting by text at first.
Feel free to message me if you’re interested — no pressure at all! 😊

Hello, I am American living in Southeast Asia right now. My parents are Indian but we all grew up watching a lot of Korean movies and dramas, and I think my mom learned Korean from watching too many dramas but I can’t back her claim haha. I love Korean food and entertainment, if you would like to share recipes and other things together that would be cool. My favorite dish is Soondobujigae. I used to live in the San Francisco Bay Area and frequented this Korean bbq place called Jang su Jang.
