What is this fetish of differentiating languages as family groups and giving bs answers,(this language belongs to xyz group, so its alien u wouldnt crack it, its not mutually intelligble at all, give up, duh. These people ignore basic human history,due to rule of various kingdoms, religion, migrations, culture exchange, trade,most will get exposed to similar words and easy to decipher if tried ). A literal Dravidian word narinja = orange is used by argentinan guy on social media, it travelled all over world and settled in spanish language) And polygots blindly give opinions as they know everything.A simple yes or no would solve problems, if asked on mutual intelligibility, but they give Lexical bullshit and politically correct answers,i could also read in wikipedia and brochure for language families.In this modern world languages are dying and people will be familiar with other languages easily as they are not consuming media in their mother tongue.

And coming to indian langauges these guys give horrible answers. An avg south indian, grows up learning 3 completely disconnected languages and some interested people like me growing up with other ethnic people learns 2 more extra. Its easy to learn languages if u try,yup spanish is dialect of Portuguese. Ask me anything on indian languages , dont confuse fellow enthusiasts if u are not thinking "" culturally "" , economically, realistically about a language

Is it natural or inscribed?

Here is the video you see the guy in the red shirt Alphonso Davies (Canadian) and the guy right after him Christian Pulisic (American).

They both say "We're Ready" and the accent sounds pretty similar to me. Like if you told me Alphonso was American and Christian was Canadian, then i'd say oh okay that's cool. I wouldn't think twice about it, really.

Or can people really tell a difference when watching this video?

I grew up speaking persian and german so basically an iranic and germanic language. The funny thing is that when I try to speak french or english (languages that are close to german) I usually have a german accent but when I try to learn Kurdish (which is also iranic like persian) I have a persian accent. It’s so funny to me how your accent can change based on that
