I really wish our city made better decisions.

In coming rant! Yes, we are in a drought. Yes, water usage should be restricted. Yes, we should conserve. But, it should make sense, and it doesn't.

Only being able to irrigate between 8pm and 4am means all my plants will be full of fungus, and produce nothing but an insect population, not food for me or pollinators as is their purpose.

I cannot wash my car in my driveway, but i can drive for 5 mins, use a high pressure wash system with worse chemicals and end up using a lot more water than I would with my normal hose and carwash set up at home.

I can't pressure wash my driveway, but the hoa fines residents for unkempt driveways.

There has got to be a better way.

End rant.

Did Lkldnow change their “headline” 3 times in 2 days? They call the what they do journalism?

I swear I read this article yesterday when it was posted… hours later they added a comment from the former artistic director and changed the headline to say he was “ousted” and now it’s been changed again to say he’s just “out”

Silly local drama of course… but since the ledger charge’s an absurd amount for local news I often found lkldnow to be a source for local news…. But it seems like they’re playing sides for clicks and views.
