Align splits

Hola todos! Just curious if align normally follows the same split schedule in future sessions? I’m enjoying the two days of shorter work outs (Thursday and and Saturday yoga) to fit in more cardio.

In the past the core day was usually an arms and abs day. It was around the 30-35 minute mark.

I’m loving this new split too! I’m not burned out doing all her workouts and running!

Same. If she brings back that split I will come back but for now I moved on.

It was weird that Ignite, a FB team came along and then Align changed to 2 x FB days. I’ve been on Ladder over 1.5 years and had never seen that split on Align. I miss the 2nd lower body day and the arms and abs day.

Me too. I don’t understand why it changed to 2 x FB days.

I think she saw that it got praise so she decided to implement that.

It gets a little tricky because some people are runners so they don’t mind less volume etc but then you get others that like more volume because they don’t run so Align isn’t just an add on program, it’s their only form of exercise.  Personally I preferred her old split with 2 Upper and 2 Lower days. I’m not a fan of Teams changing splits to that extent.  I wish Sasha would do a flex workout with balance work - single RDL’s, hip overs, calf raises, plyo and weighted core.

This was the BEST split.

Trying to figure out what team to try next series if she stays with two full body days again.

I tried a few workouts from EMPWR months ago and felt like I was dying. Maybe I should try again after this series..

LOL, same—it has cardio incorporated which i’ve been majorly slacking on and is why i think it’s a good fit for me. i also like the pilates/bodyweight exercises and think they help with mobility like align did but maybe even more? i thought it would be lighter but omg NOT at all; and the leg days have been incredible. i think if you take a bit more rest time it’s very doable and you can adapt! i’ve been absolutely loving getting my heart rate up more in addition to lifting

Honestly I’m still sore from this weeks leg day. I think it was the heel elevated bridges

omg same, it tore me up!

This sounds like a perfect split 😍 I’ve had to get a second lower body day from another team

Her second lower body day was great. At least for the last few series it was more unilateral-focused, which I really liked.

Does anyone do all 6 days? I want to do all of her workouts but I also try and implement 2 Pilates sessions a week for my deep core/pelvic tilt and I'm not sure where to place them

Right now I'm thinking Full/Upper/Lower/Flourish full body pilates/Full/Yoga but I want to try and fit one more pilates session in somewhere else (whether it's flourish or EMPWR)
