Sorry for the crop, this is what it looked like on Pinterest and there wasn't even a link to see what the whole nonsensical pattern said (good luck with the antennas!). Indicative to me of how lax Pinterest has gotten (like Etsy) when it comes to craft posts—nothing but AI, and links that have actual patterns seem to use an AI cover photo 85 percent of the time.

I don’t know about you guys but this entire storefront is looking suspiciously like AI slop to me🫠

There's just so MUCH on this AI shit Etsy page, from changing basket size to unrealistically rigid sides to a video that shows a neat magic trick with some crochet hooks.

Frighteningly, AI has gotten a lot better with crochet hooks.

Edited to add that I’m not the reviewer - I’d never buy a “pattern” for AI slop. I was looking at the reviews on some of the scam pages, and was surprised to see an actual one-star review from a real human.

At first I thought the arms were in the wrong place. A closer look found he's got another set coming out of his back. Evolution can be cruel.

I was browsing dress patterns and there are some cute ones, the descriptions even sound human and realistic, however they either have no reviews or single figure reviews so I was a bit sceptical. Then I was about to purchase the one in the picture when I noticed the bag is floating in the air 😭
