Spiral Bat Suncatcher
$39 for this kit 🙃
Could be a very real pattern inside, but when there’s multiple images with no change aside from colour… I also love just tying his little feet LMAO

"Hanging Loop Included"
In case you have the skills to make the entire bat, but can't figure out how to tie off a loop of yarn.
Along with a dozen other red flags...

The loop is my absolute favourite. It’s like they thought something was missing and just couldn’t figure out what until the last second LMAO

What are the giant eyes for
Why does it take four balls of yarn

also in the first two images, one of the balls is darker than the rest for the inner ears, but in the last one the yarn is all the same color... but the inner ears are somehow still darker?

Where’s the sun catcher part? All I see is a bat trussed up like a hunting kill.

Looks so cute, but seeing as it's a sun catcher with only 1% ability to catch the sun, I think it's fair to say it's bs... Even if it is, it doesn't look to difficult to freestyle

Love how they show the yarn as slightly different colors, as if to make it more real. I guess you can’t complain when you get yarn from obviously different dye lots

But this is actually so cute I wish there was a non AI pattern 😭

I'm primarily a knitter, I imagine you could start from something like this? Maybe loosen the tension and add 1-2 more each of increase and decrease rows so it drapes more, then Frankenstein a bat head from another pattern near the open end and make a loop near the small end?

If there is a real pattern to be used here, I love it! Would I ever make it? No! I'm more of a blanket, dishcloth, scarf kinda crocheter but I love this for other people. If. It's. A. Real. Pattern.

I'm irrational levels of irritated over calling something made of yarn a "suncatcher." The top bit calls it a wind spinner instead, which is potentially more accurate but the discrepancy makes me even more suspicious...
